Review summary

Overall our cruise was good. I don’t think we will be back to back cruisers, but it was definitely a great experience with a great cruise line. If I go again, I will be getting a midship room and not one towards the front 🤢

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

Main dining was pretty good. Windjammer really didn’t have that great of options, seemed like the same ole same ole. We did go to Sabor and it was AH-mazing!

Sabor

Cajetan was our waiter and he was so awesome!! He was so informative and really took his time to engage in conversation and answer any questions we had. Definitely recommend! The food was outstanding especially the bacon wrapped chicken peppers!

Service and Staff

Everyone was very nice, welcoming and helpful! Especially our stateroom attendant Pagi! He was so sweet. You can really tell he cares about his guests and wants them to feel at home in their cabins!

Ship Quality

Pagi is the best!!! Everywhere on the ship seemed clean and tidy… except the casino.

Balcony was the way to go! Definitely made the experience! Also the bed was very comfortable. Had to full size pushed together as one bed.

Ship tip

Get some Dramamine and zofran! You’ll need it.

Ports of call

Cozumel, Mexico

The port was amazing. LOTS of shops. We did the All terrain dune buggy ride. Ivan was our tour guide and he did a great job! Ivan told us facts about Cozumel and the culture/ancestry. So many interesting facts. Beach was gravel vs sand but clear blue water. The buggy ride through the city to get to park was fun. I wish the “terrain” part was longer, but overall my daughter and I had a blast!

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

We did beach break to Mahahual. It wasn’t really worth the money. I feel like I should have just taken a $10 cab ride to the beach. There a lot of people walking around trying to sell you their goods.. which is fine, I respect the hustle, but there was a lot of seaweed they were trying to clean up. We were ready to go after a couple hours. The port itself was beautiful!

Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

We did the Jolly Roger Catamaran. It was a lot of fun! The workers were very nice and wanted everyone to have a good time. I wouldn’t say “buffet” should be listed. But they provided some homemade food that was good. The ride through the town was interesting and full of culture.

Disembarkation

Had to wait a little bit longer this morning to get off, but went quickly. We chose to carry our own luggage off which helped us go quicker. Took longer to walk off the ship than it did to check out.
