Not quite sure what I was expecting cruising during a global health crisis, but Royal Caribbean's protocols made it easy to stay healthy and relax while on vacation.
Embarkation

Organized, easy for the guest, plenty of room for social distancing.

Food and Dining

The food is good. I like how I can be more adventurous in the MDR with foods I haven't tried. I think they need to elevate their dinners if they want to stay competitive. For instance, the traditional English trifle was jello, custard, and whipped cream.
Five stars for the Windjammer food safety and Covid protocols!

Cabin attendant: five stars, ten if I could. He was personable, timely, and our room was left spotless.
Servers in MDR, Windjammer, Chops, and Sabor: five bright, shining stars. Kudos to the dining supervisor Freya, who reseated us elsewhere, away from a problematic guest.
Windjammer supervisor: one star. Kept pushing us to give good survey results our entire way out the door until our cards were scanned out.
Sales pitches while we're eating: one star. Please stop that. Set up a booth at the entry but don't bug me while I'm having breakfast.
Planning and organization was on point. The airline changed my flight home to something much earlier than planned. By day three, we had a QR code to scan and fill in our departure plans. Because of this, we actually made it to Bush for our flight before noon.
