I would definitely go again, but I would not book a future cruise on the ship, way too expensive. Get a good travel agent and have them get you a great deal

A great ship, great food and service. But terrible procedure for disembarkation.

We cruise several times a year and this was just a quick decision to escape the cold of a Phoenix winter in favor of something tropical. We both enjoy the British TV drama Death in Paradise and this was about the only cruise that got us to Guadeloupe where the show is filmed and the water is spectacular.

Our first time on the Koningsdam. We are avid Holland America cruise goers. This is a wonderful ship. Staff were great. Smooth ride too!

I went on this cruise with my 86 year old mother. I would enjoy it more if I went with my husband. My mother was not able to do many of the excursions that I would like to do and we'd already done the ones she could do.

Overall nice ship and would sail on it again. Better than average food for a cruise ship, food service and room steward were excellent.

Overall, an excellent cruise with a spotless ship, outstanding cuisine, very nice cabin, good service, and nice port calls. Just be aware that the alcohol, internet usage, and ship-based excursions are quite pricey. Still worth the booking and trip, though.

The most disappointing part of the cruise was that on day of embarkation we ran into seven problems and guest services and management was nonchalant about those issues. Even though the spa and our room had issues, most of the ship was clean and fairly new. The ports of call were nice. The food tasted okay but was lukewarm and really may be a health violation. Our other Holland America experiences were better than this one.

Great cruise but not relaxing . Ports everyday and Holland excursions all cramped buses. Sea days only in the beginning and at the end . Too many lines at the buffet. By the time you got what you needed for lunch or breakfast , everything cold.

The cruise exceeded our expectations in every aspect. I highly recommend this ship. I would choose Holland America as a first option. The ship sets the standard for quality in the industry.

A fine ship, a fine cruise for those who don't mind being on the high seas for a week. Some procedures about embarkation and - particularly - disembarkation need to be improved.

Having cruised before with Celebrity, this was our first trip with HAL. Would choose Celebrity in future, all things considered, just because the little details were better executed in our opinion.

Embarcation easy. and well organized. Day time activities seem slow and maybe more appealing for 70+ but lacked enthusiasm and vitality for my taste. Most of the programming was come listen oh...BUY BUY BUY...Staterooms SMALL , actually smallest Ive seen compared to other ships. Others who cruise this line often said: gelato pay bar, Dive in, and other revenue producing stands added to this ship take away from cabin space. Entertainment in evenings not always happening. Sail away night...no show!

Excellent food in all dining venues. Poor service in main dining room because it is understaffed. Entertainment quickly deteriorated during the week.

The cruise is what my husband, daughter and I made it. Cruise director did not do anything that helped us in planning events or entertainment. Without our own input it would have been a pretty boring cruise.

Would recommend this particular itinerary and ship. It is a very relaxing experience and plenty of sightseeing. The food at the Lido deck is probably better and faster than the dinning room. Ko ko

We enjoyed the ship, the food and the service. The activities were a little light. The reservation only restaurants were all fantastic as was almost all of the crew. We really loved the active options like kayaking and hiking in the ports. Pulpit Rock was beautiful and Flan was one o f the prettiest areas that I have been to. Cruising through the fjords was beautiful.

Enjoyed the whole 14 days. Staff and locations could not have been better. Just be prepared for cold and rain since that is the norm in Norway. We had several clear sunny days but was told this is not the norm.

The Fjords, cities and Norwegian countryside are beautiful.  This is the best of Norway on a fantastic, new ship. 

Being a new ship, the climate control in the cabin works well and the rooms are well insulated so there are few noises other than the toilet flushing.  The television could use more development.  The initial volume level is scary and the channel selection is sparse.

Calculating the sun's lowest point, elevation and direction at the time of the Vernal Equinox was the most interesting activity for me.   Experiencing the vast network of fjords of Norway was the most geographically and geologically interesting..

The piano quintet performances were outstanding entertainment.
