Review summary

Would recommend this particular itinerary and ship. It is a very relaxing experience and plenty of sightseeing. The food at the Lido deck is probably better and faster than the dinning room. Ko ko

Embarkation

3 out of 5
The embarkation was done at Waterland Terminsl which was not designed with passenger cruise line in mind. The entire checking process was chaotic lengthy and worsened by the long raining outdoor line. Definitely not a great first impression.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The variety of food option at the running room was limited and the food quality was only mediocre with bland taste, however the food presentation itself was pretty. The wine server seems to be more focused on selling the drinks than learning each passenger's taste and preference. The food service was hit and miss where we had spilled water on our table that the waiter failed to help in cleaning up in one occasion; while the other waiter on a different section went above and beyond to meet our requests.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Not too much activity and variety of activities.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Nothing expectacular but serves the purpose of killing some time

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Very professional and courteous.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
As expected from a new ship with this level of luxury

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Spacious and quiet with a beautiful view from the veranda.

What you say is true. Food is always quicker to get at the buffet compared to the MDR.
