Review summary

We have been on a few different cruises but this one was over the top.  I can't say that the cruise ship was fantastic or anything like that.  The food was good, not great and the amenities were fine.  But the scenery was over the top for sure.  The destination was what made the whole trip worth taking.  Recommend you take this trip without small children, there really isn't much for them to see and do on this type of cruise ship.  Most activities were in a colder climate and some not really very suited for smaller children.

Ship tip

jewel of the sea was a good ship, nothing over the top. Was clean and our steward was great and accommodating when needed. Food wasn't something I would say was wonderful, was good but not great.
