The Jewel of the Seas 9 night Greek Isles cruise was the best cruise that we have been on. We had a suite that was wonderful...very roomy with many perks available to suite guests. The staff and ship were great, all of our needs were met. The ports of call were beyond expectation...Greece was beautiful! Would definately recommend this cruise to others. In fact, would consider going on this cruise again!

Poor AA Customer Service by eenh

Booked cruise through American Airlines, only received one email communication about initial booking, no other communication, reminders for payment, reminders to go to cruise site from AA. When I talked to Royal Caribbean, since AA was considered the "travel agent" they cannot communicate with us directly, all communication about the cruise is supposed to come from American - None came. Very poor service by booking through America.

We chose this cruise because of the ports of call the boat is not worth the money you spend on it but the places they stop are fantastic. We did a tour at every port and each one of them were wonderful. Be aware that Royal Caribbean will try to nickel and dime you out of every penny they can

Royalty from Port to Port by JPCruiseXpert

If you told me that I could go back on this exact ship, with this itinerary, and this staff and have the exact same experience I just had, I would return without hesitation. Absolutely recommend this ship, absolutely recommend these ports, and I absolutely recommend spending some time in Rome either before or after.

very nice cruise by alexandre55

Very nice cruise:

Interesting destinations, nice ship, friendly crew.

The excursions variety and their quality are not so wonderful.  Foe instance in Corsica we were taken for a 40 min bus ride just for a 30 min toilet brake (!). then we came back to  Ajaccio a walking tour. We spent extra money and our time for nothing.

Overall by jennywei

I've been on serval cruises with RCC, however, Jewel of the seas doesn't seems like welcome peoples and uncheerful team crews.  Plus additional charges on towels without letting customers know to return.  Not much entertainment and smaller ship to Mediterranean.  Food was ok & service was slow on the first couple days.  We had to switch to other table to have better service.  Otherwise, it's good.

Opa! by Cruiser36819524

Very good overview of the Greek isles visited, just not enough time at the stops to enjoy. Going back to Santorini! Paying for an excursion to visit Oia and only getting an hour there was not enough.

Near perfect experience. by ancab501

Absolutely loved the mix of Greece and Italy communities. The dinning service was fabulous. Would have liked to have had more "locally" appropriate meals. The cruise line serves what they believe  "American" guests prefer, I would have preferred more local fair, but our family got that in port each day. The trip to Santorini, Greece was shockingly poorly executed. Due to the number of cruise lines that port simultaneously there are too many people for the small port to manage. A fellow passenger broke their leg when being forced to walk down a hill to catch the boat due to so many passengers being in line to get down the hill otherwise. I strongly recommend some ground tour in Santorini otherwise you'll experience chaos.

I would highly recommend this cruise to everyone. The ship is beautiful. The food is good, and the staff excellent. Except the bartenders have attitude.

The food was excellent and the nightly entertainment in the theatre was great!

The ship's decor was beautiful; the stateroom was up to date and clean.

The personnel/staff were all very friendly and efficient.

We loved this ship and the cruise itinerary.

Dining room food served cold.  Entertainment amateurish.  Weather was great.  Great way to cross Atlantic.  Great service.  Attrium pool is great asset to enjoy the sunshine without the wind.

Great Service by Nmorales

Service overall was great, especially at dinning room and bars. Entertainment was boring for 13 nights, same bands and songs every night, Latin band needs better performers and sound equipment.  Royal Caribbean must improve/more creative dinner menu.

my cruse for vacation for rest by gvelezrph

All in all the trip was good, the cruise was clean and nice. The food was very good but the service in the dining room was not the best although the staff personal were very friendly. At the buffet the food was good but a bit disorganized. The spa prices were high, the shops had very limited hours.

Do not rest as expected as the bed was as hard as a stone.

Thoroughly enjoyed our time on Jewel of the seas by sjones93885706

Overall, we had a great week.  I loved the itinerary-- spending each day on a different island, sailing each night and only one full day at sea.  We got to see a lot of interesting things in our various excursions and kept busy with the various activities while on the ship. The dining service was exceptional.

Great Cruise Except for the Food by julianneholling

Let me preface this review by saying that before this cruise, I had traveled only on Holland America and Celebrity.  I was in a Junior Suite, which was fantastic.  My granddaughter and I had PLENTY of room and storage space and our bathroom even had a tub!

Pros -- Cleanliness, staff, quality of entertainment, specialty dining restaurants

Cons -- The main dining room was awful.  Tables were literally inches from one another so the experience was crowded and loud.If you like basic steak and shrimp, you will like the offerings, but if you are used to more inventive options as on Celebrity, you will be disappointed.  It was also difficult to know when to make a reservation because the entertainment times changed nightly.  I kept having to call and change my reservation each morning when the schedule came out.

A Good Cruise by Cruiser56071990

I would recommend this cruise.

Photographers should NOT block entire "ship aisles".

Boarding "Sreeners" (from excursions) could be a bit friendlier. Please or Sir goes a long way when asking for cap removal.

Cap bills cover up the small signs asking folks to mind their heads. Incidentally, I don't see this on other Lines. Why is ducking required?

I don't think that Royal Caribbean Executives (with an eye for detail) sail the Company Shiops enough.
