Review summary

We just got back from back to back cruises (1/10 & 1/17) on Jewel of the Seas. The islands were all interesting. The ship although very clean with friendly, efficient staff was a bit disappointing. Our balcony cabin was much smaller  than on any of our previous 8 RCL cruises. I hear that it is to go to dry dock for upfitting within the next year. This is certainly due. Food in the main dining room was excellent but the portions seem to be getting smaller every year. Our favorite island was Barbados. Our least favorite excursion was St Croix but the poor tour guide on our bus contributed largely to this. A tour guide should know the island very well.

Next year's cruise has already been booked. Yes it will be with RCL again but on the Navigator this time.
