Wonderful Caribbean Cruise by joseph42853152

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Harmony of the Seas

We enjoyed our cruise and everything about it except the pool area on sea days. The crew is always smiling and there for you when needed. The food was amazing at the specialty restaurants.

Overrated by glordery

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Harmony of the Seas

Everything is better on land: hotel rooms are bigger, pools are bigger, drinks are cheaper, activities are less crowded, your not rushed off the island, people are less likely to let their children run around unsupervised.

Made amazing memories by Cruiser99598972

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Harmony of the Seas

The ship was incredible. The inclusive food was not great at all but easy to access. Central Park was beautiful. We loved hearing the birds in the daytime and crickets at night. Entertainment was good if you could get a ticket. Most shows were sold out so we missed out on some. Jamaica port was not very exciting. They tried to rip off at one of the port shops and inflated the prices at the cash wrap. Most items don’t have prices so they make them up on the spot. I’d suggest to shop around first because most shops have the same merchandise. Labadee was incredible and it was our favorite stop. Inclusive food was good there and we loved the labadoozies. We were at the adrenaline beach and had a great experience. Amazing service so we tipped them well when we left. Just a few sketchy pushy vendors behind the main gift shop trying to lure you away somewhere. That part was a bit strange and made us uncomfortable. I would have loved to go check out the local artisans behind the main shop but there was a group of 5-6 men behind the building trying to “show you something” and kept on saying “follow me”. The robot bar was fun and we designed our own cocktails. The rising tide staff were amazing. We visited them every night. The schooner bar was great too. It was hard to get a seat at night so go earlier. We enjoyed the solarium when we set sail. Our room was in a perfect spot on the 8th floor steps away from Central Park. The queen tribute was amazing and the welcome party was a lot of fun! I would highly recommend the drink package.

Beautiful Ship - Fun with Friends by theresabonk67

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Harmony of the Seas

Overall had a great time within our group and most of the on shore excursions. Make a note that Labadee only accepts cash if you want to buy from the locals.

Nice, too crowded by disneynina

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Harmony of the Seas

We have gone several times the particular week we went & it was never this crowded. Many of the staff seemed new and not at all sure of themselves. Additional training definitely needed. Kids needs to have a pool of their own and not be allowed in hot tub.

Great staff, relaxing trip, loved the 8 nights. I wish the larger ships did more 8+ night cruises.

Felt Harmony of the Seas was more for families by jgwjaw

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Harmony of the Seas

Harmony is a great ship, just very large and I felt very much for children/teens. For a couple, there wasn't a whole lot for us to do. We stayed mainly in the Solarium during the day which was peaceful, but there isn't a plunge pool to cool off. We did get into the shade eventually in the Solarium and enjoy some games and drinks with friends in the afternoons.

Underwhelming by dtkbland

Beautiful ship. Service was great. Food was not nearly as good as expected. Perhaps lesser than Carnival Not enough activities for anyone over 40. Was bored way more than should be.

Wonderful cruise on an Amazing Ship! by Cruiser20847422

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Harmony of the Seas

We were on a girls cruise and just had a blast. The ports were amazing and the ship is incredible. Lots of things to do onboard, spectacular shows, never a dull moment! The food and service amazing. Can't say enough. This was my first cruise with Royal Caribbean and can't wait to return.

Disappointed by AnnalisaD

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Harmony of the Seas

Everything you do costs extra $$. With the drink package you have to hunt down a soda machine because there's only 3 places to refill your cup. Ice cream is available for a limited time and 2 stations available where they serve you a small cone.

Great ship with lots of variety if the kids don’t heat you to it first. RCLl is being marketed almost exclusively to families with kids. This is not the Royal cruise lines of a few years ago. We loyal, active, retired couples are no longer the priority. by ryarmo

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Harmony of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

We’re likely moving to Princess and Celebrity. They have been structured for our demographic. Goodbye from Diamond Plus guests.

Below expectations by johnweisse

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple

Too crowded. Small onboard venues. Long lines. Crowded elevators. Windjammer food not good. Restaurant food not good. Austerity measures very obvious.
