Great ship with lots of variety if the kids don’t heat you to it first. RCLl is being marketed almost exclusively to families with kids. This is not the Royal cruise lines of a few years ago. We loyal, active, retired couples are no longer the priority.

Specialty restaurants are very good, MDR experience was meh (good service, food hit and miss).

3 out of 5
Too many kids in pools and hot tubs.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Outstanding production shows despite technical difficulties.

Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Perfect for us.

Ship tip

Sail the Harmony if you have lots of patients for hundreds of kids on the ship, most well be haves, but not all. Good luck trying to get into a hot tub mid day.

I agree, royal Caribbean’s priorities have changed. It’s all about the families and the kids. Which is OK but that’s just not for me. That’s what makes them the money I’ll be looking into other cruise lines as well.

My wife and I agree too. We are also Diamond+ and have been sailing with Royal since 2000. We have seen a huge decline in "bang for the buck", most notably with the MDR food quality.

I am Diamond plus, and I agree with you. RCI just ain't the same! 2 cruises booked for this year, both with Celebrity. We did two last year, 1 Celebrity and 1 RCI. Anthem of the seas is, in my opinion, the worst designed ship they have ever had sailing from Southampton, can't see us ever sailing on it again, and since we only sail from the UK (wife will not fly) and Anthem is already schedule for the UK in 2024. Not for us.
