Review summary

Overall had a great time within our group and most of the on shore excursions. Make a note that Labadee only accepts cash if you want to buy from the locals.

Food and Dining

Really disappointed with the main dining room menu. I can honestly say that I only at 2 meals as I sat for every meal in the dining room. The Wedge salad (minus everything and added a couple of veg. with Ranch) and the chicken breast dinner because I could order them plain. I had no other appetizers or meals from the menu. Most dessert was great. And finally on the last night, I ordered a kids meal. Otherwise, I preferred the windjammer for salads because I got to choose. Really didn't find a lot in either place for dinner other than the salads. We did eat at Jamie Oliver's for dinner and I fully enjoyed everything I ordered as well as the other 3 that accompanied us. The service was top notch as well.

There was plenty to do but so much crunched together timing wise, often had to leave the current event to make the next interested event or miss out altogether.

Entertainment

We saw 1886 and Grease and they were fantastic. We also enjoyed the game shows and bingo.

Service and Staff

While we found most of the staff to be very courteous and fun, there were some bartenders not a friendly, our waiter was good but took a long time to warm up. My friend and I got a spa treatment and Ashley was not the best person to work with. My appt was 6:00 pm and I was there at least 10 min early but since my friend arrived a little earlier than I did, she made sure someone gave my room a call.

The room was very nice. Our room steward kept up on clean towels, making up the room and even checked on us as we left the ship.

Ship tip

Not having traveled for a very long time, unless you are traveling with a Cruiser, always check back for all the shows, etc to make sure they don't sell out before you even get a chance to reserve seats.
