We love cruising and with Royal Caribbean mostly but this last cruise experience with terrible food has made us think twice before going again

Food and Dining

Food quality and choices were the worst I’ve ever experienced on a Royal Caribbean ship. Spoke to many staff members and they all have said they have recently had a corporate change and many other guests were not happy either

I wonder if they want people to buy the dinner package. This is disappointing.

Hate to hear this. This is our 4th cruise with RC, but 1st since pandemic. What exactly was going on with the food? Was it quality? Lack of choices? Just trying to mentally prepare for our cruise next week.

We are easy to please when it comes to food, but our last cruise on Harmony was disappointing. Buffet should have something other than the special theme they are serving. The burgers were good but few people want a burger and fries for lunch and dinner 6 days in a row. Pasta was available but with little or no choice of sauce.

It isn't just Royal Caribbean that is having food problems. Reading reviews on here many people have been disappointed in the food on other cruiselines as well since Covid. I am sure Royal Caribbean will work out the food problems since so many people are complaining.

We were on Grandeur in January, just after the menus changed. We were 100% disappointed with the new MDR menus and the food quality. The normally reliable fallback New York Strip was not always available, and when it was, it was more of a Ponderosa quality steak.

Total agree just got off Oasis. I honestly didn't eat very much because the food was so bad. Lived on late night pizza.
