They offer the best variety of tea on any ship we have cruised on.

Keep your expectations in check. This is not a new ship but it is still easy to love.

Be aware that smoking is allowed in the casino. Yes, I no longer smoke, and I do not object to being around those that do smoke. However, the casino is small and even though they have air circulators, the air quality is extremely bad. The air discouraged us from accepting the challenge of gambling. We usually try our luck several times during each cruise. But, not this time. Extremely poor.

The Grandeur is not a large ship, so don't expect all the bells and whistles that the huge ships have.

easy ship to enjoy. avoid peak time at buffet. do not expect any discounts on drinks. fun dancing in viking lounge. only experienced dancers danced in centrum. lots of entertainment through out the evening hours typical ....too much smoking in casino ...spilled out to other areas limited shopping..seemed to have hardly any day or night ware for women at all and only slightly more for men although we din't purchase specialty dining ....we heard so many that thought the packages were well worth the cost ....i consider the extra $500 for two of us to have unlimited options. our dining room food was decent so we really didn't feel deprived at all. order coffer and continental breakfast ...free of charge ...we gave a tip for each delivery ...much appreciated

smaller ship..less to do...older clientele....nice ship to relax

Bring a cabin freshener. Tip the staff generously - they work very hard and smile constantly. Talk to other cruisers. As much research as I did beforehand, I learned more from the experienced cruisers onboard.

This is a very small older ship. The clientele for the most part is older also. Although this was the most families I’ve seen on the ship in a long time. If you are a young couple looking for nightlife this is not the ship for you.

Don’t get an ocean view. Interiors are often bigger.

It is a smaller ship but good ship if you just want to cruise and not worry about all the frills.

The Grandeur is a smaller ship but needs to be because of the bridge. For us this is the one we travel on because we tried a larger one and because of my limitations on walking this fits us. But besides that the one major is the staff being more personal on a smaller ship as oppose to a larger one. We feel we are just a number on larger ship and we don't shop so don't need the stores or speciality restaurants. Each ship is great in their own way but when making your choice do you want more to do and just be a number or less to do and more personal staff attention. This is what I have encountered.

If you want to see any special event presented in the Centrum, get there early. Our cruise had many individuals with walkers and canes. They would get to events early and not leave for hours. They were basically parked there.

I think this ship is dominated by oldsters, but if you want quiet and relaxed this is the ship for you!

This is a ship to go on when you want to relax and have a little entertainment here and there. It is not technologically innovative as the newer ships are. I just booked my 5th cruise on her.

The Grandeur of the Seas is not overwhelming like the bigger ships. Amenities are easily accessible with no waiting lines.
