As always, we enjoyed the Grandeur and RCCL. We will definitely cruise again on RCCL and especially the Grandeur. We live in Maryland and really like the proximity of the Baltimore port to our home.
However, we are really disappointed in the air quality of the Casino. I'm convinced that the casino could be changed to NO SMOKING AT ANY TIME and you would not lose passengers. Give smokers a place somewhere on an outside deck and don't punish those that do not or cannot tolerate the smoke.

We experienced all venues on ship. We are extremely pleased with the service and quality of food in the specialty restaurants. Disappointed that the ZUMI was ala carte and I believe pricey. I believe the prices should be adjusted similar to that of CHOPS and GIOVANNIS.
Onboard Activities

Didn't experience the solarium as we would have liked. WAY too many passengers saving/reserving extra chairs/loungers. People are just so greedy and self-important. There has to be a way that RCCL can accommodate ALL guests all of the time. I believe there should be time limits with a crew member serving as check in/check out. Its a shame that other guests can become so engrossed in their own cruise that they prevent other guests from enjoying the ship.

Absolutely first class service from all of the staff. Specifically outstanding was our room steward, Roustan Rodrequis (spelling)(Room 8549). And extraordinary support, service and attention from the Viking Crown staff and specifically Nenad Dimitrov. Thanks to "Dimitri", we made the Viking Crown our go-to destination for the entire cruise.

Crew/staff did an excellent job of cleaning and maintaining the ship even though the ship is aging.
Cabin / Stateroom

location was good. Hall was quiet. Room steward did an amazing job and still took time to chat with us and share some of his life. Cabin was always clean and the balcony was a special treat.
Ship tip
Be aware that smoking is allowed in the casino. Yes, I no longer smoke, and I do not object to being around those that do smoke. However, the casino is small and even though they have air circulators, the air quality is extremely bad. The air discouraged us from accepting the challenge of gambling. We usually try our luck several times during each cruise. But, not this time. Extremely poor.
Was a good port. Did the Segway tour. Enjoyed the tour guide and the tour immensely. Had a great time learning to operate the Segway. Will do that again. However, the locals sure pester about selling their wares. Really annoying.
