Go to the shows. Spend time in the adult only pool area. The food there was awesome. You can even find bags of chips. Haha.

Park cafe in solarium is a great place to grab bags of chips for room or movies out side or in theater. They have great sandwiches, soup and salads. Vicking crown lounge is a great place to relax.

Plan your ports of call and what you want to do before you get on the ship, they get very busy at the excursion desk on deck 5.

Sit back, enjoy the trip. The two tours we did take were excellent and fun. The shopping in Freeport and Nasau were the same as always, we stayed onboard for those ports.

Favorite quiet place: deck 11. I don't drink a lot so I don't get the drink package. But the drink card is a great value. Every drink is the same price as drink of the day.

Use the Main Dining Room, and get to know some other guests while enjoying sit down, serviced dining. Your wait staff will treat you as royalty, and most likely, you'll meet some wonderful people if you go to one of the standard sittings. If you prefer, you can be by yourselves here, if you want to as well, just select my time dining when you book your cruise.

Don’t expect all the TV commercial thrills of cruising that are in current television. Granduer of the Seas is a sophisticated quality ship with hustle and bustle of large crowds. A passenger should expect rest, relaxation and a leisurely cruise to great destinations.

Check the weather and the forecast at various ports. We had our schedule changed because of rudder repairs and skipped ports because of bad weather.

Make sure you dont get/ or have issues with motion sickness. I did from day 2 even with the pills patches n bands . Maybe try putting a patch on a whole day before enbarking.

Eat at the buffet on an off time, gets crowded. Dining room is open for breakfast and lunch besides dinner. Like the information boards at the elevators for getting around and food places and menus.
