Review summary

It was pleasant and relaxing. The first full day had rough water. I believe a hurricane went through. I stayed most of the day in bed. The rest of the crusie days were beautiful. Except for the last full day was rainy and cold going back to Baltimore.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
I ate in the dining room at 8:00pm with our group. I prefer to eat at 5:00pm but the portions were not large. The food was superb.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
The activities on board were “same o same o “ meaning nothing new. However, i did enjoy the question and answer with the captain and other officers. The captain of the ship seemed to be very down to earth and funny too.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
I have to say the broadway shows are awesome. The comedians were funny in the pallidiam theatre. Nothing was offensive either.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Cabin steward was wonderful.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
I liked the design of the ship. However, I can sure see some signs of wear and tear. My cabin was decent but it needed a good cleaning. I felt like I did not want to sit on the chairs as they were soiled. Bathroom was clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
The cabin was amble for one person. I went by myself. The chairs were soiled and carpet needed cleaned. The pillows were ridiculous. I had a stiff neck in the mornings from the uncomfortable pillows. It was pleasant to come back every evening to see my room picked up and clean towels etc.

Ship tip

Go to the shows. Spend time in the adult only pool area. The food there was awesome. You can even find bags of chips. Haha.

This is my favorite island. I went to Valley Church Beach. Just gorgeous!

Bridgetown, Barbados

Went to Boatyard Beach. Water and sand was lovely. But the locals are taking over this section of the beach and giving it a cheap resort feel.

Castries, St. Lucia

Took a local taxi to Pigion Island beach, cost me $50 a local found me the taxi and haggled me the entire trip. kept begging for more money. Uncomfortable time. The beach was not as nice as I thought. I would not go there again. Definitely enjoyed the Castries Farmers market around the cornor of the cruise ship.Bought spices for $2.00 for a small baggie, great deal.It was funny that the vendors did not want any us bills with the slightest tears.)

Fort-De-France, Martinique

Took a tour of the island for $40 for 4hrs from locals. They wanted to fill van with 6-8 before they would take us on a tour. Saw volcano, rain forest, small streams,up steep mountains.Stopped at a rum factory, it was kind of nice. Close to cruise ship were vendors with some hand crafted items) Also our driver showed us a tree that had cinnamon on the bark. He peeled a piece off the bark and let us smell it. It was nice to see where cinnamon came from.

Basseterre, St. Kitts

Wanted to go to Friars Beach but it was closed due to a private function. But went to another beach and the sand wasn’t as great nor the beautiful water I was hoping for. Wish I could remember the beach name,
