Review summary

We love to cruise because it can be so relaxing and this one of the best trips we have had in a awhile. The staff was friendly but not pushy with the cameras, like some of the ships. The drinks were great. The food was fantastic! Take the plunge and enjoy your vacation on the Grandeur of the Seas.

Cabin / Stateroom

It is kind of small but not bad for two people. Would be crowded with 4 people in here.

Ship tip

Enjoy yourself. Watch the shows. Relax. Have fun!

Ports of call

Charleston, South Carolina

Loved seeing the older homes wished we could have gotten into a few of them. I love to tour older homes.

Port Canaveral, Florida

4 out of 5
Not quite the tour I thought it would be that was my fault. I thought we would see some of the city not just the port. I did not read the description of the tour correctly. We did enjoy the space center as well as the exploration building.

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

5 out of 5
It has changed since the last time I was there but did enjoy the glass bottom boat.

Nassau, Bahamas

5 out of 5
This port has changed the most. I do not think I would advise anyone to stay out after dark. It appeared a little scary to me from the ship. Do your shopping and get back to the ship. We did enjoy Atlantis. What a beautiful place!

Cococay (Cruise Line's Private Island) Did not visit port

John was not feeling up to it after walking all day at Atlantis

Disembarkation

It sure has changed over the years. You get up go get breakfast, then head to a comfortable seat and wait for your number. Then off you go. Luggage was easy to find under our number and then out to the shuttle. Great.
