Disappointed, at the end sick. In between enjoyed the ship, crew and entertainment and our group of ten. Disappointed we missed three ports out of five, didn't enjoy the other two as much as we would of liked. Weather can't control it. We were compensated for the ten day trip down to eight days, and received port charges back for not going there. Around Thursday started feeling sick,got a virus sick the whole next week, just getting over it now. Five in the group had the same thing. Not sure if it was the ship or not, but I know other people were sick also. Never again out of Baltimore in January. Will fly south,then cruise. Worst cruise,out of thirteen.

Everything went well. They didn't permit boarding until 1300. We arrived early and had to wait about 45 minutes, but we were aware of the boarding time.

All dining areas that we,ate at were great. The dining hall, buffet area and Chops. Chops was the best steak on the ship. Johannes was a great man and even better waiter. Ares and Dejan were the best in the dining hall, could not do enough for the ten of us. Buffett was good but only ate there a few times. Nice views, but the ship does rock a little more up there.
Onboard Activities

The ladies did the dancing with Gemma and Orlando, they both are fantastic. The veteran's ceremony was very nice, it was a pleasure to honor our veterans, police,firefighters and EMS.
Entertainment

The entertainment was very good, enjoyed all the shows, the boys from Canada rocked the theater and I wished they would of played longer and more often. Big Bob was a good MC.

Every staff member was friendly,we were very happy with our waiters, cabin Stewart Gede, the best, and all the information we received from the captain about weather conditions and port cancellations.

Loved the ship layout, easy to get around, furniture in the cabin is dated. Staff was always cleaning.
Cabin / Stateroom

Here our cabin Stewart kept our cabin clean and tidy. Plenty of room for storage. Had a hard time putting our suitcases under the bed, closed so we had to leave them open to store there.
Ship tip
Eat at the buffet on an off time, gets crowded. Dining room is open for breakfast and lunch besides dinner. Like the information boards at the elevators for getting around and food places and menus.
Been here before, it was cold rainy and could not go to beach because of the weather, stayed two days, definitely one to many. Wish we would of left and did Charleston on the way home. But can mess with mother nature.
Sorry to hear of your getting sick and the bad weather. I love the Grandeur and usually cruise in the spring or fall seasons when there is not as much sickness and better weather. I'll be taking the northern cruise in the fall and am looking forward to it.
Totally agree with everything he said as we were on the same cruise with him. Loved the crew and the entertainment. I too have been sick since getting off the ship. I don’t think I’ll ever cruise again after the rough seas this whole week on the ship I think that cured me.
We both got sick on our 13nt cruise last week. We were on the Carnival Sunshine. Many people got sick. I think it was the time of the year. Also this was a very bad year for cold and flu. We got flu shots three weeks before the cruise.
