Stay towards the rear of the ship. That way you have easy access to the dining facilities. The gym and spa are the only things really at the front of the ship.

There was not a mini fridge in your room but a “cooler”. Ask for ice and put it in the cooler swapping it out everyday and it will make it more like a fridge in there. It will actually chill your beverages.

Choose my time dining and go online and reserve a time. This is an option! If not, when you show up you have to wait sometimes 45 min for a table. I reserved a different time each night based on when you were getting back on the ship. Main dining room is great for breakfast too!

Get a room forward or back from midships. The closer you are to midship the more likely you will feel the vibrations we had. And buy the drink package, it will make life easier and is worth it.

Be prepared for the high number of Puerto Rican’s on board. They sure do like to party, and don’t really care about what anyone else thinks! We were on the pool deck, and about 10 Puerto Rican’s began marching around the deck, chanting something and banging drums. It was quite annoying, and they don’t seem to take anyone else into consideration when they do what they do.

Definitely get a balcony. Make reservations for My Time Dining. Reserve tours ahead of time. Beverage package is not a necessity.

you pay for everything, soda, juices, wifi (which was spotty and for the amount of money was unacceptable). Specialty dining and liqour packages was too high in my opinion. If you pruchase alcohol from one of destinations you stop in you have to turn it in and you get it back at the end of the cruise.

You should arrive half an hour early to the shows especially the skating show. If you like tranquility you can have breakfast in the dining room, The dining room has a small buffet during breakfast too but you have to choose between the a la carte menu or the buffet. Keep in mind that the dining room opens a little later than the windjammer. If you are My Time Dining you can make a reservation for dinner.
