Review summary

Terrible experience with getting our luggage after we departed the ship. They put our luggage on a different shuttle rather than the one we rode on to the airport. The 2nd shuttle that brought our luggage came an hour later. No one working with royal or handling this transfer process wanted to help. Not sure if the supervisor or the person helping us off our shuttle even reported this event. At least 10 people were waiting for over an hour.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Very quick process. However, we boarded the ship more toward six o clock and the ship departed at eight p.m.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
I thought the windjammers food was subpar, dirty and needs a major upgrade. The food in the main dinning hall on floor 3 was good. Service was on point. The waiters and servers were kind, very attentive and updated us on things concerning the dining hall.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
We chilled... relaxed and enjoyed the time on and off the ship.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Both of our room stewards and waiters were excellent!

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The ship was clean just needs to be updated! Certain parts of the ship are really dated. Furniture definitely needs to go!!

Ship tip

Do not separate yourself from your luggage during the transfer process between the airport and ship.

She's getting an overhaul in January. We were on her in April but didn't find it outdated! Just happy to be on board

Yes, I just hate to sit in outdated chairs!!!!

We always just take one piece of luggage each and do self debarkation with our own luggage.

That sounds like the shuttles fault with the luggage, not the ship.
