If you want to separate the beds, you need to tell the room staff upon arriving the room and leave the room to go do something while giving the staff some time to get it done.

Remember to let people get off the elevator before you enter. If you want to text stay in your room instead of running into people because you are so rude! I had no complaints about the ship or crew, just other passengers!

The Explorer is a good sized ship. Not too big and not too small. use the front elevators. The ones in the rear get too much windjammer traffic.

If it is your first time, you might like it. If you have been on other cruise lines, you may be disappointed.

Enjoy this beautiful ship!! This was our third time to sail on the Explorer (each with different intinerary). Great design!! Easy to find your way around. We almost always try to sail on ships that have the Promenade and do not care for the smaller ships, without the Promenade.

My Time Dining reservation should be made in advance to assure a reasonable wait time in line. However, without knowing the schedule of evening activities, you may either miss something or skip your reservation and "hope for the best". Most evening entertainment was at 6:30 and 8:30 with other activities starting at 10:00.

The casino was a disappointment. It was small and the ventilation did not handle the smoke from cigarettes. In addition, there was a bank of about 8 slot machines that “appeared” to be paying very well for the entire length of the cruise. The people who were playing them totally monopolized them at all times. When one was finished playing, he/she would be replaced by a friend or relative who might or might not want to play. Sometimes they would just “hold” the machine until their friend returned. It was noticed by a majority of travelers and was a frustrating situation.

I guess I would have to say ask more questions nobody told us that Royal Caribbean will rent you a electric wheelchair for the ship which would have been really nice if somebody have told us that there was other things they didn't tell us that we didn't find out until the cruise was over they need to do a little bit more explaining for people that have never cruise before

I would not travel 15 hours again to go on this cruise. The excursions did show off Fiji's amazing waters. The best port was New Caledonia.
