Review summary

The cruise was wonderful, the first few days were a bit rough so we were confined to our beds. Once we settled and were able to move around the onboard activities were great. Lots to keep you occupied on long sea days but not enough time spent in Hawaii.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Very easy process however one staff member was quite rude when checking in at Seattle

Ports of call

Honolulu, Oahu

5 out of 5
Loved it but would have liked to spend more than 1 day there

Lahaina, Maui

3 out of 5
Had to wait quite a while in the hot sun for tour bus. We did the Maui sightseeing, spent far too much time at the aquarium and not enough time seeing the natural beauty of the national park

Cross International Dateline

5 out of 5
Very entertaining onboard shows put on to celebrate

Lautoka, Fiji Islands

4 out of 5
Tour to village was great, but city sightseeing consisted of being dropped off at the main street

Suva, Fiji

4 out of 5
We did the Jewel of Fiji tour. The bus was small and uncomfortable, had to sit on floor during ceremony which was very difficult for older people. Then go down uneven steps to get into very small uncomfortable long boats for a trip up the river. The scenery was beautiful but not impressed about having to get out at points to walk as the boat was unable to get through shallow sections of the river. Again steep moss covered slippery steps to get to the waterfall was difficult for those elderly or physically unable to traverse.

Mystery Island, Vanuatu

3 out of 5
Missed this port due to medical emergency so cannot rate

Lifou Isle, New Caledonia

3 out of 5
Not a lot to do here, we took the tour to the secret grotto . Was very informative but the grotto was just a small cave. Local owner gave extremely funny demonstration on how traps are used with no English spoken

Mare Isle, Loyalty Islands, New Caledonia

3 out of 5
Very beautiful beach

Sydney, Australia

5 out of 5
We did the hop on hop off tour which wuss very informative

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Extremely easy process

Or possibly a longer cruise to avoid the speeding πŸ™ŒπŸΌπŸ˜‚πŸ˜˜

I understand your point, but more time in Hawaii would mean more higher speed days crossing the ocean. Rougher ride to Hawaii, rougher ride after. Very nice cruise you selected.
