Review summary

Overall the vacation was okay I doubt that we will ever do a cruise again the Windjammer have their food was pretty good but some of it was over cook some of it was undercooked but that's the way it is with a buffet. Ice cream machine was broke 50% of the time we were there but when it was working it have very good ice cream and once again if we had known that they had electric wheelchair it would have been a lot easier for us to get around

Embarkation

2 out of 5
We bought the whole package from the flight to the transfer to the boat for cruise no one helped us with our luggage at the airport and when they went to board the bus to get on the cruise we were in the wrong place and they didn't even tell us they were loading the bus, the lack of help was bad . My mom was in a wheelchair.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
We only ate there once , my daughter got really sick eating there so we didn't go back.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
We did the art show an the casino and the miniature golf,

Entertainment

3 out of 5
We wanted to do the ice skating but nobody told us that your your deck only goes at a certain time and if you miss that then you're just out of luck with the shows.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
The room service staff seems all very nice Ian very courteous it would just be helpful if they could speak a little bit better English.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship seems very clean the elevators and all the common areas were very clean in the Halls were very clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
The cabins were quite small and we wish that they hadn't been at the end of the ship I had told the travel agent that my mother was in a wheelchair and we had to push her so it was extremely a long ways to any of the dining rooms or any of the areas that had anything going on.

Ship tip

I guess I would have to say ask more questions nobody told us that Royal Caribbean will rent you a electric wheelchair for the ship which would have been really nice if somebody have told us that there was other things they didn't tell us that we didn't find out until the cruise was over they need to do a little bit more explaining for people that have never cruise before

Ports of call

Seattle, Washington

4 out of 5

San Francisco, California

4 out of 5
San Francisco was nice we went to the aquarium and Pier 39 in went to Chinatown and we were surprised at how large Chinatown Was and then we went to the zoo and we had a good time .

Victoria, British Columbia

5 out of 5
Victoria is a very beautiful city and has lot to offer their buildings are very beautiful and they have a boat taxi where you can take from place to place which is really nice.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
Getting off the ship is pretty easy it's just extremely A Long Walk and we had to push mom in a wheelchair that's why if they had told us there is a electric wheelchair that would have been much nicer and easier on our vacation

That's a really old ship. My first cruise was on Explorer. Try a newer ship before dismissing cruising. Cheers!
