Review summary

The trip was fine but the ship changed the route on the way back by not going through the inside passage. We did not see any sea animals at all, just birds.

Embarkation

3 out of 5
It was quite a chaos but we managed to figure out the procedures and where to drop off the luggages

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The food in general was good except one lunch at the main dining room that was just not tasted right. Some of the food in the cafeteria was salty.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
We are not big on the activities, but we are o.k. with what they had planned for us.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Same thing, we enjoyed some the entertainments but we did not participate too many of them.

Children's Programs

We did not use the facilities

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
They were really nice and attentive.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The ship is designed well with many open spaces but it was aging and the carpet was a bit dated.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
One cabin was good and everything was in working order but another one we had had broken door deadbolt, sink faucet and the refrigerator did not work.

Ship tip

If you want to separate the beds, you need to tell the room staff upon arriving the room and leave the room to go do something while giving the staff some time to get it done.

Ports of call

Seattle, Washington Did not visit port

We went straight from the airport.

Juneau, Alaska

3 out of 5
It is a typical tour town.

Skagway, Alaska

4 out of 5
Pretty town. You can walk through the whole town. It is only two streets.

Victoria, British Columbia

4 out of 5
Pretty city, but be aware if you catch the cab. The meter ran fast and expensive.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Self Assistance was a good decision as long as you got the waiting area early. You can get off the ship in no time.
