Tried Hal first time to check it out will return for longer cruise. Having a mass every day is most important. Mostly very nice polite people.

Overall it was a wonderful trip. The service was great. The quality of food needs alot work.

Enjoyed Holland America Cruise Line. Will be cruising on a different HAL ship next time.

This cruise doesn't list Cuba on the itinerary, but half a day is spent just offshore of the north side of Cuba. It's in the distance, and you can't stop, but that too is a good day. This cruise has a great variety of very interesting islands included. The formerly Dutch colonies are completely different from the former Spanish colonies we have visited.

Holland America is not up to the quality of other cruise lines.

This was my 3rd cruise with Holland America. I knew what I was getting when I signed up for it. It is designed for an older traveler who does not want a lot of activities and simply enjoy good service and excellent food.

The Panama Canal is a engineering wonder and worth seeing once. Curaçao is a wonderful port. Colon looks very depressed and we did not feel safe to walk around. Probably will not do this cruise again. But I am glad we did it once. The Eurodam is well maintained and the staff was great. It does not have as many amenities as Holland's newer and bigger ships. I appreciated the smoke free casino and the kindness of the staff.

We will never cruise Holland America again. Staff was wonderful but entertainment wasn't that enjoyable, food was mediocre at best.

First cruise on Holland America. 10+ previous cruises on Princess, Royal Caribbean, Carnival, Norwegian and Viking. Will avoid Holland America in the future.

This was a great cruise to see the Panama Cabal with a few other good stops along the way. The food was great and plentiful and it seemed a good value for the cost.

staff great food is good. The review averages out to a higher rate than the ship should get, But the people and classical musicians and all the vocals. deserve recognition.

Food is plenty but not cooked right. I like the ship’s decor and cleanliness and I don’t mind cruising it again but mot my husband because of the food.

Cruising was almost back to normal after COVID. This was our first time on HAL and will probably sail them again based on itinerary

I just returned this past Sunday from an 11 day Panama Canal Cruise on the Eurodam. Embarkation and disembarkation were flawless in Port Everglades. Eurodam is scheduled for a 2 week dry dock refurbishment at the end of it’s present cruise. The crew and staff were great although there were not enough bar tenders or enough bars for that matter. The hours seemed limited compared to my previous cruises and most areas like Lido and Ocean bar were too crowded to get good service. The food was not as good as in the past but OK. The selections were limited compared to past experience. Sirloin steak has been removed as an everyday free option in the MDR but available for a $20 up charge. Eurodam is too small for my taste and will not sail on any HAL ships except Pinnacle class in the future. The cuts and changes in entertainment were not to my liking either. HAL has changed so not sure how many futures HAL cruises I will take. I already have a Baltic cruise paid for on MS Rotterdam in May but have cancelled an Alaskan cruise tour on MS Noordam due to it’s smaller size.

Eurodam staff are excellent. Caribbean in January is splendid. Like all cruise lines, Holland has some good and bad points. We will sail them again.

We were assigned a room and then reassigned at the last minute (although it was an upgrade, thanks) we had to wait in the mile long guest services to do so. Holland needs to update their check in services/app. A simple notification that our room had changed would have sufficed. The only cruise "fun" was the BB King Live Band...but no karaoke? No other entertainment by the pool (hoola hoop, music host w/ games etc.) More daily entertainment! However, if you are looking to just rest and relax, it may be the perfect cruise for you! The same food every day almost. Lack of servers so extremely long wait times for simple things like ice cream. One day I waited 30 minutes for ground beef for tacos. Dinner times aren't scheduled, and selected dinners are an additional fee. Pizza ends at 11:30pm instead of 24 or at least 2am/3am like other cruises.

It was OK, lost our luggage. We had to wait till everyone got off the ship to get our wine that was confiscated at the beginning of the trip we had a bad experience in the dining with the waiter who was horrible. You can improve on the Lido deck meals by changing it up with different food different (food was boring) after awhile. The entertainment was terrible, except the band that was playing in the jazz lounge.

i was surprised at this cruise line because it was the last one i could find at such a late christmas date and i had never did holland before. i will now always consider holland america when choosing my future cruises.
