Captain said it was the best weather for this cruise all season! Outside of the rough day at sea, it was great. I highly recommend this cruise. Holland America was the best of the 4-cruises I've personally been on. The food and service was outstanding. I think the ports were well-chosen and fun to visit.

Was dropped off by a shuttle that the Aloft hotel at the Seattle airport arranged for us. Got right through but had to wait about 15 min to board.

Make your dinner reservations early to get the best times.
We did the sea otter and Alaska Raptor center expedition. We saw lots of sea wildlife, several whales, sea otters and salmon. The Raptor center was fascinating.
It rained here. We were supposed to take the "Misty Fjords" Excursion but it was cancelled due to mechanical problems with the boat we were supposed to take. We did a trolley tour which was OK. Got to see quite a bit of the area.
