this was my first cruise ever, the Holland America is known for the older crowd but being in my early 30's i felt it was the best experience ever, they had so may items for all ages, the ship was designed to make fun for everyone and i cant wait to do it again.Embarkation

did not partake but the kids on ship seamed happy.

from day one knew you by last name and always had a smile and offering to help.

very clean and very easy to learn, my first time on a ship and had no issues.
Cabin / Stateroom
large, spacus, great window view and felt like home.
Ship tip
do it, simply the most comfort and welcoming of staff. i chose this ship ovre 5 star land resort anyday.

Ports of call
was warm and sunny for one day we were there, the adventure gold panning was a let down and if i could do it again i would chose a diffrent one.
Icy Strait Point (Hoonah), Alaska
my pregnant wife and i were able to get down and walk around and see the region with no issues and was just beautiful
my favorit port, the town is so amazing and the walk through the park was full of great photo spots and the environment with wildlife was really fun
unless going 45 minutes to down town not fun, i walked to near by spots that were closed and just went back to ship for better time.
Disembarkation
very easy going, staff all thank you as you departed and were there to assist if needed.
