Review summary

Loved the experience of cruising the inside passage. Very laid back atmosphere. Food on HAL was better than most. Not much entertainment so I'm not sure the better food options outweigh less to do. Great staff!

Our flight got us to the port 3 hours ahead of our boarding time. We had verifly done and went right to the ship. 10 minutes tops. Easiest boarding ever.

Had the signature drink package and it was limited. Very few drinks under the $12 limit and if you wanted anything over that you paid full price. Food was awesome no matter where we ate. Buffet was the same every day but there were quite a few options so it did not get boring.

Signature suite waf perfect for us and the balcony was very big. Great for enjoying Alaska scenery

Ship tip

Not many announcements about what's going on. Several times we did not even know the ship was cleared at the ports. Very laid back cruise. Could have used more time at the ports. Check out the crows nest.
