Review summary
HAL continues to disappoint with on ship activities, food, and entertainment (or lack, thereof). We are 4-star mariners so we have cruised with HAL a lot….and ever since the shutdown, they have been very disappointing. The entertainment is essentially non existent….6 dancers, dancing to video backdrops and canned music, don’t constitute a “production show”. And the food in the dining room (inedible filet mignon on gala night) and thin, fatty, ribeye steaks in the pinnacle were very bad! And the fact that they didn’t have lobster in the pinnacle, at least not the 12 ounce tail advertised with the upcharge….they substituted two small five ounce, overcooked tails for the same upcharge price.Embarkation
