Absolutely Amazing Cruis by diane1025

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

I took this cruise with my 8 year old son.  It was our first cruise, definitely not our last.  The staff was friendly, helpful and extremely accommodating.  My son has severe allergies to Peanuts and Tree Nuts.  I had already made a note of it in our reservation.  The waiters and waitresses in My Far Lady dining room were so good with him.  They understood and for us that was huge.  My son felt safe eating whatever they gave him.  Normally he is worried about cross contamination but not on the cruise.  I would highly recommend Royal Caribbean cruise line.   We hope to sail again with them within the next year or so.

Solid, fun experience by GypsyDRB

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

We enjoyed the trip with friends. The boat is starting to show some wear and tear, but the staff was great, and I had a lot of fun at the casino. Recommend Chops as the My Time Dining food can be a little uneven in quality (fish wasn't great).

I've never had a better experience with service until I went on my first cruise. The servers and crew were outstanding and helpful with everything. The cruise director (comedian) was a blast.

Not the cruise I booked by dbimmer1053

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Nervousroyal Caribbean at some point decided to change the location of our cruise and instead spend 3 nights in Nassau Bahamas so they can work and do repairs on the boat. They never notified anyone of the changes and we has to find out on boat, staff was even laughing about 3 nights in Nassau. I booked this cruise because we were going to coco key and my kids love the beach there. Now the only option would be to buy an excursion to the beach which was total not fair.     And another things I have never been on a cruise that didn't serve lobster tail in main dinning room, they had it for an extra fee, I was shocked it's usually included. I would not recommend this cruise line.

Good trip, not perfect, but close by sssmck

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

We took this trip to celebrate a milestone birthday for my husband. We enjoyed the ship, the atmosphere and the excursions/ports of call. This was our first time cruising with Royal Caribbean, and we were happy with almost everything. The only glitch for us was the room service food - the quality was not even close to what was offered elsewhere on the boat. We shared a table for dinner with a group that cruises on Royal Caribbean frequently and they commented that the overall the food was not the same quality as on other ships. We were happy with the food in all venues (buffet, steak house and dining room) except for room service.

Otherwise, the experience was a good one and we definitely are considering cruising with Royal Caribbean again, though would try a different ship next time.

Experience on board enchantment of the seas by kayps178

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

This was my sister and her family's first cruise and since I talked her into it,I hoped her experience would be beautiful. You certainly did not disappoint. We had a great time and she is ready for another one.

The food and entertainment were great and the staff were very accommodating especially Alexo and Geraldo ,I may have his name wrong, but he and Alexo worked together.

We would definitely cruise again. We were thinking of doing a family renunion next year but hoping for a great price.

Thanks for a super good time.

a good trip! by paulfripp

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

the trip itself was good.  The boat was clean and felt fairly updated, the aduly only pool was nice but way to hot inside as they did not open the doors to allow a breeze in]

Food was mediocore at best, we paid extra to eat at chops grille every night to guarentee a good meal, and it was worth it!

youd think with the money you spend they would give you sodas, but no paid extra for those too!!  In all a good get away but when comparing to a disney cruise well there is no comparison!! booked a disney again the day we came back!!!

We needed a vacation from our vacation! by joanncadovius

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

The ship was, beautiful, the staff was friendly and helpful. Our room steward, Pat knew our names as soon as we set foot on board, knew when our sons were sleeping in and was always available to answer any questions. Our waiter, Modiri and assistant Rosette, were amazing....kept the drink refills coming without being asked and always smiling an friendly. My  only complaint was with disembarkation. We tried the 'walk off, carry your own luggage" deal, which would have been fine, except that I think the cruise line needs to limit walk offs to those with 1 suitcase and 1 smaller bag per person and NO handicapped walk offs, at least NOT with the general population. We had a person in a wheelchair, with 3 other people, plowing through the crowd with 6 big suitcases on wheels and whatever else they had piled on the wheelchair, and because they had a wheelchair, they literally ran over my foot in a dash to disembark!

Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Love this cruise... this is our annual getaway on the same ship, with the same people on the same date....

We enjoy the entertainment, the food and especially the private island experience.  I WISH IT WAS LONGER..... I could stay under those palm trees till the sun goes down.

Although this is an older boat our experience was very good. Food was excellent. Make sure you buy a drink plan because the cost we really add up. Don't bother paying for WIFI it is spotty at best.

Great Cruise by KPei

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

I would recommend this cruise to first time cruisers or a seasoned cruiser looking for a short fix. The ship was clean and up to date. The staff was wonderful and the cruise director, Marc, was hilarious. He really made the cruise.

Fun by apbjmb

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)

Great Cruise Director - Bing Bong! Lovely weather, good times at ports. Ship is a bit dated and the number of restaurants was disappointing. Food was good, not great, and portions were a bit small in main dining room. The pool deck was overly loud with lots of music or movies playing all the time. Staff was very friendly and upbeat. Great shows! Overall it was a fun time.

Services by chg14

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Ill like to say my experience on the cruise was great, the bartenders, room service, waiters and the food was great. There's one short Brazilian woman that worked at the bar I front the casino, her service was well appreciated, she always kept a smile on her face and even when I'm not at the bar, she'll say Hi. I must say I'll be back on The Enchantment of Seas .

Much needed Vacation by jashima1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Went on the boat with a little skepticism as to the age of the boat and design. But I loved it. First time with a balcony I don't think I can ever go back to anormal interior. The housekeeper was great as usual our waiter was also very patient seeing we had a group of 20. Pools we're perfect depth for the little ones, ages ranging from 1-45. Selection of food from the buffet was also great. Everytime you walk into the windjammer they want you to use hand sanitizer which can be annoying but it's to help with the spreading of germs seeing as the stomach virus spreads so easily. In the end had a great time and would love to do it again.

FUN by dkhirsh2008

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

We were impressed with the staff of the ship. Upon exiting our cabin, we were greeted by our house keeper who spoke to us by name. Dinner, while not what we ordered, was taken care of and full attention to make it right. We had a wonderful time and can not wait to enjoy another cruise.Love
