Review summary

We took this trip to celebrate a milestone birthday for my husband. We enjoyed the ship, the atmosphere and the excursions/ports of call. This was our first time cruising with Royal Caribbean, and we were happy with almost everything. The only glitch for us was the room service food - the quality was not even close to what was offered elsewhere on the boat. We shared a table for dinner with a group that cruises on Royal Caribbean frequently and they commented that the overall the food was not the same quality as on other ships. We were happy with the food in all venues (buffet, steak house and dining room) except for room service.

Otherwise, the experience was a good one and we definitely are considering cruising with Royal Caribbean again, though would try a different ship next time.

Room was average outside cabin. Was surprised how comfortable the bed was, because we could see they were well used by the divots in the centers of the individual mattresses that were put together to make a King.

Ship tip

Highly recommend the stingray city excursion. Peaceful, mellow, great way to experience the islands without huge amounts of people, plus you get to learn and enjoy the rays.

Glad you enjoyed the Enchantment. That is a great 'entry level' for Royal Caribbean's fleet of ships. The rest of the ships get bigger and better! We are hooked on Royal, going on our 10th cruise in October.
