Decent and fun, but not exceptional by mrsjenwhitney

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

I thought the boat was nice enough, although not new.  We did have problems 3 times in 4 days with our toilet/shower drains not draining.  The staff was nice, but not overly so.  (Compared to Princess)  I liked the productions/night shows-the gymnast and the showtime musical.  The kids loved the teen staff member, but not many (other) teens participated.

old ship by mopuken

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Being that it was an older ship it didn't have the elegance I would had imagine. This was my first cruise with Royal Caribbean. I will like to try a newer ship next go around. But overall I guess I couldn't expect to over the top being that it was only a 3 day cruise.  All the employees was friendly, the food was great except for the sit down breakfast after eating there had to go to the Windjammer for more and better food. When we was departing the ship, our cards was rejected and we was told we had to go to Guest Services where there was a huge line. After waiting in the line for 30 mins. The service rep tells us it was a mistake and she was sorry. It was totally unacceptable.  She then goes on to tell us we should complain to someone else. As we had a long drive back to GA,  and the had just wasted 40 minutes for nothing it just left a bad impression for us.

Land and Sea Excursion by bethnami

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

We took the land & sea excursion in Nassau.  It was very enjoyable and would highly recommend it to a first time visitor to Nassau.  The tour guides were excellent and knew a lot about Nassau.  Atlantis was something to see (it is beautiful).

Cruise was excellent but thought I was going to receive onboard spending money to spend when I booked the cruise.  Meals were excellent and weather was great.

When you are told you are not as important as other guest, it ruins your whole vacation and makes you wish you had never trusted R.C. by protech

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

The cabin itself was great but the couple in the adjoining room (7122) toilet overfload and flooded their room and in the process leaked under the wall into our room ruining our clothes that were stacked in the corner and left an unbearable smell (DUE TO DIRTY TOILET WATER). And when we reported to customer service, the not so friendly gentleman, told me my problem was not as significant as the other room so we did not deserve as much attention and he sent no one to clean our room. It took our housekeeper (Jasmine) to get something done about it  It took several trips to customer service to get satisfaction that we mattered too.  When I told my wife  her evening dress  for pictures was ruined  including my clothes was not as important as our neighbors problem she was furious. When I told her what customer service said and they had no property damage and we did.  My wife was embarrassed by how she was spoke to by customer service The lady at Customer service later apologized for the way she treated my wife and admitted she snapped and did not handle it correctly. Customer service finally gave us 50% off our next cruise but all that covered was the loss of property damage from this cruise.    The 50% off is nice  but we lost that much in clothing  we're not going to reuse toilet soaked clothing that is disgusting and unsanitary.  Your customer service needs retraining in etiquette

Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

The cruise was fantastic we highly enjoyed our room host, and we made sure to go to Boleros to have Anthony and Yulia as our Bartenders they gave us some of the friendliest service onboard! They were patient with us and made great recommendations.  If going aboard EOTS be sure to go to Boleros and ask for Anthony!

Cruise to the Bahamas on Royal Caribbean via <img class='agent-replacement' src='/images/hideagent.png'> by swee3400

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Planning and arranging our cruise on was quick and easy.  Boarding and getting to our room took only minutes.  Fantastic!  Weather was excellent, and food, activities and entertainment were great.  Days were full, and many new acquaintances were made.  There were many different age groups, and statuses.  Atmosphere was always friendly.  The crew was exceptionally professional and friendly.  Debarcation took only minutes, and since we parked at the terminal, we were able to get to our car quickly.  We carried our luggage on and off, and would recommend it for those physically able to do so.  Looking forward to another United Cruise.

Great vacation by dannycap

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

This was my first Royal Caribbean cruise. It's my 11th cruise in all (6th different cruise line). I have to say I was impressed with both the service and the ship itself. It was a quick 4 day cruise (I always did 7 nights) but it was definitely a vacation to remember. The food was excellent no matter where you ate. The casino treated me better than on any other ship I have sailed on (though I didn't win a ton of money, I did win a little every day and it helps at the end of the cruise.)

Great time and awesome staff by jshbsf

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

We had a great time on the cruise and the staff of enchantment of the seas was fantastic. We met new people and have made new friends from across the country. The food was excellent at both the Windjammer restaurant where you could get all The fresh fruit and salad you wanted, and the food at the my fair lady dining hall was wonderful. I did not like how much selling there was in the form of emails prior to the cruise. It was overwhelming to get emails telling me to sign up for this and for that on a daily or weekly basis for food for drinks for shore excursions etc. etc. so many emails in fact I began to ignore them and almost missed an important email to check in online three days in advance.

not impressed with royal carribean by beth88182

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

The food was not good, staff was borderline friendly, accommodations with cramped and less than comfortable. I will go back to carnival for sure. I understand it was a cheap, short cruise but it was not nearly what I expected.

Enchantment of the Seas/Royal Caribbean by millieroman103

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Food varieties was absent at Windjammer Cafe. Breakfast lines were horrendous every morning due to only ONE chef doing ommelets and eggs etc. No pool deck activities. Live music first day only. Boat announcements can't no be heard, understand or person would talk so fast that was hard to understand. The worst for Non-Smokers was to have people smoking across from kids pool. Bar was located right across.

Billing by hammann

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

When I booked my cruise through you , I wanted everything to be paid for up front. When I checked out, they had  charged me for tips that I thought I had paid. When I got home and found out it wasn't paid. It was for $27. a day. I guess when you don't send out itemized statements, I didn't know what was all included in my price.

Excellent food by lisascott1968

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

We have sailed on the Enchantment of the Seas before, and ship looks a little tired, however the food and staff more than make up for it.  Paid for internet service with no service so that was a waste of money, booked spa treatments and they had ran out of the products so i had to pay $50 more. We were not aware our cabin would have bunk beds and my youngest son 6 was too frightened to sleep high so spent 3 nights on a mattress on a floor which was not ideal, but had no alternative room to give us, not dealt with very sympathetically!

We may be done with cruises for a while by debmul0421

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Although we have always preferred RC over some other cruise lines, we have had some bad luck as of late. We were on the 9 day cruise to nowhere out of Baltimore on an RC ship. They left from the port with one bad engine and by the end of the 9 days they had refunded everyone the entire fare. This time it was a 4 day out of Cape Canaveral. It was very rough so I was queasy but on the only day we were to be in port, my husband got what we believe to be food poisoning from the completely raw and cold scallop appetizer. I refused to eat uncooked food so he ate mine and his and paid for it for about 30 hours. The following day we were to go to CocoCay but they said it was too rough and returned to FL. So again it was the cruise to nowhere for us. I contacted the guest services and they said the maître de would contact us-he never did. Then I sent an email several days ago - but again, no response. Guess they're not concerned about the passengers. We'll just go directly to the Islands in the future.

Don't take this ship by janntionette

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

This ship was the worst... The rooms and room restrooms have an odor, even the elevators smell.  The elevators also make buzzing sounds.  The food was HORRIBLE and unfresh in every cafe except the main dining room.  There weren't many options.  The rooms were sooooo outdated, the only thing I really enjoyed were the staff and the shows. Never again! back to Carnival for me.

4-day cruise out of Port Canaveral to Nassau. No previous experience and was delighted with whole experience.  Food, entertainment excellent.  Staff was wonderful.  Marc (bing-bong) cruise director A+; dining room servers Marian and Julian were attentive and friendly; Alex - part of entertainment staff hard-working and talented.
