A Great Time! by BessieA

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Overall, our whole family had a wonderful cruise. My 17 yr. old met several teens the first nite and didn't want to leave. My 10 yr. old was never bored. And my husband and I loved the food, entertainment, fitness center and the fact that the kids were having a good time in a safe environment.

exactlly what we wanted by CherylF3

I took this cruise with my 15 year old son and we both had a great time. The ports were wonderful (Key West, Cozumel and Belize) - lots of options of things to do. there were tons of kids on the ship and my son found a bunch of friends on the first night. The food was very good - better than I expected in the main dining room and the service all over the ship was exceptional. It was perfect for us - plenty of things for the 2 of us to do together and also plenty of things for us to do separately.

A wonderful cruise by KayubeM

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

We recently sailed on the Enchantment of the Seas for the second time, and all I can say is "Wow!". We knew the ship had been refurbished and stretched to make it larger, but we had no idea what to expect. New restaurants, a fantastic new pool area and a new nightclub made this second cruise feel like we were on a brand new ship. We really like Royal Caribbean's style, service, and innovative ships, and the new Enchantment did not disappoint. Two new dining choices were really excellent. We had to wait all week to get one reservation at the new Chops Grille (we waited until day three to look into it-next time we'll do it right away). But, it was worth the wait-the restaurant is beautiful and cozy, the service was even better than the already great service the dining room staff usually delivers, and the steaks and chops were outstanding, comparable to any great steak house. The Windjammer buffet really isn't a "buffet" anymore, now it's like a cool marketplace/food court with many more choices, stations you can approach from all sides (so no endless line!). Very wide-open and airy feeling, a huge step up from the typical ship buffet. We loved all the nightlife options. The shows were great but we really enjoyed the new latin club, Boleros, the Champagne Bar and the live music at Schooner's Pub. Felt like a totally different night out, every single night. The new Seattle's Best coffee shop and the new Ben and Jerry's didn't hurt, either! The new ship features are most apparent on the pool deck, truly one of the most beautiful we've ever seen. The multi-color splash pool and suspension bridge are amazing, but the best new element has to be the Oasis Bar. Right in the middle of the pool area, the new bar has panoramic oceanviews (and barstools facing the ocean) and a new section behind the bar with a glass floor that fans out over the water. If you're not afraid of heights, it's an amazing sight! Our stateroom was cozy and had some new features (really liked the new shower 'door" vs the old curtains which always got the floor soaked). Lots of new storage elements have been aded, easy to unpack and fell like there was a place for everything. Overall we have to say the ship was really impressive, the staff was wonderful as always, and even if you've sailed on Enchantment before, she's worth a second look.

"A Wonderful Family Cruise!" by EdettiV

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Our five night cruise on the Enchantment of the Seas was excellent. Every staff member made us feel like we were the only ones on the ship. Our outside stateroom was spaceous enough for our family of four, and the bathroom had been renovated, and was roomy. Very clean and the food was superb! We went to three shows while onboard, all of which were very professional and entertaining. The kids had fun at Adventure Ocean. Large varieties of shore excursions were available to participate in. We enjoyed our cave-tubing/ATV excursion. We would be ready to go cruising again tomorrow!

First cruise - Fantastic by BarbR1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Very clean ship. The Crew was extremely friendly. I've never ate so well. The only draw back was departing the ship, there seemed to have been some miscommunication with the Crew but this would not stop me from cruising again.

I was not impressed with this cruise by CherylY

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

The ship only had 2 bars and they were not fun. You could not get a momossa or bloody mary at breakfast. I had to beg for ice in my room (like it was gold). The first 2 nights at dinner we could not get the drinks we wanted in a timely manner. We were taken by a jewlerly dealer in Cozumel that was a main store on the island at the end of the pier. at the end of the cruise my sisters sea pass card was charged 3 times and it should have been charged once. One good note is that my daughter and i came home with winnings from the casino

Our best family vacation! by BryanT

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

We made to feel like the only ones on the ship. We were never overlooked. This was worth every penny we put into it. My 5 year old daughter did not want to leave. We were entertained with shows and activities from morning to night. This is cruise a must for families wanting something different from the ordinary vacation.

Average Cruise by RobertR15

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

This was my first time on a Royal Carribean ship. The ship was in an older condition than I expected since it was supposed to have been renovated recently. The cabin was overall clean but had a worn appearence. The hallways were musty in places and the ceiling tiles were off in places. We got a good price on the cruise so I wasn't overly upset. I will try another newer ship in the fleet the next time. The food had good taste and the quality of the food was above average.

Amazing Week by TheresaD2

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

I have just returned from the most amazing week of my life. I am a first time cruiser and am already looking for my next trip. I had the privilege of sailing on the Enchantment of the Seas with the Royal Carribean Cruise Lines. We had the best cruise director I can imagine. Thanks Marc for making every show, every game, and every activity as fun and funny as possible. You were made for that job. We (my mom and I) ate dinner in the dining room every night and Ajay made it an experience instead of just a meal. He anticipated our every need and did so with a wonderful sense of humor. (Oh yeah, the food was excellent also.) We ate breakfast a couple of mornings at the Windjammer Cafe and the buffet was better than any buffet restaurant I have ever eaten at. There wasn't a thing I could think of for breakfast that wasn't presented. There were no lines and there were always tables available. My favorite were the high tables that looked out over the water. That was my favorite place to be as we were pulling into the ports. The nightly shows were something I would have paid for on land. We had the pleasure of Beatle Mania on our cruise and we attended both shows that night. For the other shows, we couldn't get enough of the singing and choreography. It was very apparent that the dancers spent alot of time rehearsing. We went on excursions in the Florida Keys - snorkeling and kayaking which were awesome and went to the Dolphin's Playground, but only saw a couple of 'maybe' sightings. That was the only disappointing moment of the whole trip and that is uncontrollable by anyone. We rented a mini dunebuggy on Cozumel and enjoyed the sights, the beautiful beaches, the many bars and water bluer than any blue I've ever seen. No picture can do it justice. In Belize, we went on an excursion to the Mayan Ruins and fulfilled a long time dream of mine. I climbed the temple and was taken back in time by the great tour director. He was very knowledgable and made the experience come to life. Back on the ship, we hit every bar and dance floor. The midnight buffet by the pool with dancing and music was alot of fun. Our room was better than expected and there was plenty of room for luggage storage and lots of drawers to hold all of our stuff. I can't wait to sail again !!!

Enchanting experience at the enchantment by AnnieC

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Every staff was friendly and accommodating. Our room was nice and clean and it has enough space for two people. It was good that we had a second seating assignment for dinner so at least we were able to take naps after the long excursions/day activities before going to dinner or shows. The ship has a lot of activities planned for each day so you'll always have something to do.

Another lovely cruise by KentH

Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Once upon the ship, the employee there didn't give us the proper information about the location of our room. BUT, once we got there and went about the ship everything was EXCELLENT. I really liked the fact that people you delt with after the first time they remembered your name and made you feel very comfortable. As before the food was very good and the servers was very good. At times it took a little bit to get the food but when we got it, it was hot and very good. We are already working on our next cruise.
