Relaxing cruise by DorisY

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Canada, New England, New York

A very nice ship for it's age. Good selexction in both Windjammer and dining room. Cost of alcoholic drinks a little expensive. Love the penny slots in the casino. Captain and crew great. cabin attendant did an extrordinary job as did the wait staff.

The ship had enough areas to relax and was up to date considering the age of the ship.

Excellent experience! by MichaelG4

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Bermuda

The Enchantment is an awesome ship. For being one of the oldest in the royal Carribean fleet it is maintained well. It did get a bit crowded during meal times the buffet restaurant is a bit small for a thousand people to go through in any kind of orderly fashion.

Very nice cruise by CrusingKirk

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Canada, New England, New York

The ship was extended in 2004 to add more rooms etc. Did not allow for dining room and lounges. When functions took place and a person did not get there early it was standing room only.

THE WORST CRUISE OUT OF 3 by TammyS8

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

If you didn't drink or gamble there wasn't alot to do during the daytime hours. The room was dirty and class of people were terrible. Will never go out of Baltimore again.

Great first cruise by KimG8

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Bermuda

This is one of the smaller ships, but we really liked it. Our waitress was top notch and almost everyone on the staff was extremely friendly. The ship itself was good for a 5 day cruise, as it didn't take too long to figure out where everything was.

Enchanting Enchantmrnt of the Seas by KathyN2

Sail date: /
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Bermuda

This was a long over due holiday on a 5 day trip to Bermuda. My husband and I were simply looking to relax and see Bermuda for the first time. This beautiful ship has so many wonderful places to explore, and even though it was completely full, we easily found quiet spots and empty lounge chairs to enjoy. There was a wide variety of shows and entertainment and the cruise staff went out of their way to make each guest feel welcome. Food in the Windjammer was typical buffet, with choices for everyone and nice atmosphere. Food in the main dining room was average at best. Just not worth getting dressed up for. Overall, it was an excellent cruise and I would highly recommend it.

Not A Bad Experience by AndyB76191106

Sail date: / Traveled as:
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Bermuda

This ship is small by today's standards which is good and bad. Small ship means less entertainment options but also less waiting in line and feeling smashed in.

Nice Cruise by KarenF15

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Bermuda

Be sure to arrive early, we arrived around noon and it was extremely crowded and hectic. The staff at the Port of Baltimore was awful. They herded us like cattle and we weren't told that people that booked suites got expedited check in. We stood in line for about 45 minutes before we were diverted to a suite-holders line which was much shorter.

Great time! by RondaL

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

I thoroughly enjoyed visiting four ports of call during the course of the ship. With the exception of Labadee the length of the visits and the place we were docked gave us an opportunity to go on an excursion and spend time at the port meeting local residents.

Sadly disappointed by JennJ

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Bermuda

The ship was old and the rooms were below par. The food, especially the "casual dining" options, were awful. RC nickeled and dimed every expense and was far more expensive than other cruise lines. We loved Bermuda, but dreaded getting back on-board the ship. The Enchantment of the Seas should be retired...the pools/amenities were horrible, the elevators and automatic doors often didn't work, and there were too many children running around unattended (children under 16 had a 1:00 a.m. curfew and they roamed the halls and decks alone).

Pleasant vacation by SandraC13

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Canada, New England, New York

This was my first cruise, and I had few complaints about the ship or the offerings provided. The ship was comfortable, convenient and attractive. My only complaints about the ship were uneven air conditioning that left some areas too cold, and no attactive quiet space to escape the general nosie and activity (the library is open to the main atrium, and, outdoors, deck 5 is all business).

A wonderful cruise! by BarbaraS5

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Canada, New England, New York

The ship was kept amazingly clean. The food and service were great. The shows were good not always great however we enjoyed them. We have cruised before and the games were the same. They need to update their games.

we lucked out with weather & seas. if heavy rains I'm not sure staying on board at ports would have been much fun.
