Review summary

This was a long over due holiday on a 5 day trip to Bermuda. My husband and I were simply looking to relax and see Bermuda for the first time. This beautiful ship has so many wonderful places to explore, and even though it was completely full, we easily found quiet spots and empty lounge chairs to enjoy. There was a wide variety of shows and entertainment and the cruise staff went out of their way to make each guest feel welcome. Food in the Windjammer was typical buffet, with choices for everyone and nice atmosphere. Food in the main dining room was average at best. Just not worth getting dressed up for. Overall, it was an excellent cruise and I would highly recommend it.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Quality, taste, presentation in main dining room was average at best. Tasteless sauces and desserts, over cooked meat and fish, small portions. HOWEVER, the Windjammer cafe had a decent variety and the service was excellent.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Loved cruise director - John Blair - and his wife Katrina. Very professional.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
This is an older ship that is kept immaculate and has a lovely decor.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Small, but very clean and comfortable. Plenty of storage, great stateroom attendants - they work so hard and always had great attitude.

Ports of call

King's Wharf, Bermuda

5 out of 5
Very interesting and convenient spot to dock. No need for tender, safe at night, lots of things to do - plenty of shops, history, beautiful sights.
Don't Miss: Frog and Onion Pub - especially at night when lit up with candles and great live entertainment.

Pros: Variety of entertainment and decor

Cons: Quality of food in the main dining room
