Sail date: August 06, 2011

Ship: Enchantment of the Seas

Cabin type: Oceanview

Review summary

This ship is small by today's standards which is good and bad. Small ship means less entertainment options but also less waiting in line and feeling smashed in.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Food is pretty good however the portions are small at seated dining. Buffet dining is probably the best. Late-night options are very limited which was disappointing. Would be nice if My-Time dining was standard but currently it is not.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Average entertainment options, since the ship is smaller than most that seems to limit entertainment options.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Staff is great, have nothing but good things to say.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Small size of ship makes it easier to get from place to place and the ship is kept in very good condition. Boat is older and is starting to look dated.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Rooms are kept very clean and are fairly spacious. Interior looks dated but still in good condition.

Ports of call

King's Wharf, Bermuda

3 out of 5
If you stay near the port nearly everything shuts down by 6PM which I found surprising. Restaurants and pubs are very expensive. If you're looking to shop, take bus or ferry to Hamilton. Snorkel Park is good place to visit; see some reefs without having to go far from shore.

Pros: Stafff is extremely friendly and willing to make your stay as good as possible; ship is kept very clean

Cons: Ship is starting to look dated and is small by comparision, food options are somewhat limited after dinner
