9 Night New England & Canada (Baltimore Roundtrip)
Sail Date: July 14, 2011
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas
Cabin Type: Oceanview
Traveled As: Family (older children)

This was my first cruise, and I had few complaints about the ship or the offerings provided. The ship was comfortable, convenient and attractive. My only complaints about the ship were uneven air conditioning that left some areas too cold, and no attactive quiet space to escape the general nosie and activity (the library is open to the main atrium, and, outdoors, deck 5 is all business).

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Overall, the food was quite good. There was plenty of variety, and even the vegetarians in our group had choices. Of course, you can get something toeat almost 24 hours a day. There are only two restaurants without extra charges, but that was plenty for me, given all the options available at each one.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Impressive variety and quite respectable level of talent over the course of the week.

Service and Staff

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful

Cabin / Stateroom

Being forward on the ship did expose us to some un anticipated noise: anchor dropping (or other docking related sounds), and waves crashing on the hull.
5 out of 5
Pretty, walkable town with many sites of interest including museums, historic sites, parks, interesting buildings.
Don't Miss: Maritime Museum
5 out of 5
Charming, walkable town with an excellent, free bus service, interesting shops and restaurants.
Don't Miss: Acadia National Park

Don't Miss: Bay of Fundy, especially if you can catch it at high or low tide, which we did not.
5 out of 5
American History 101 at your fingertips. When humgry, Mike's Pastries satisfies.
Don't Miss: Freedom Trail, and the North End
3 out of 5

Don't Miss: didn't find it

Pros: easy, efficient, plenty to do, good entertainment and good food, wonderful crew

Cons: noisy, too much air conditioning at times, cold bread , ran out of written material at classes
