Don't live with any reservations or regrets. Ask a princess to join you for the formal dinner if you are single. You may be exceedingly happy as a result!

We HATED the "soda plus more" drink package. It was sold to us as "anything but alcohol is covered" and that is so not the case. Bottled water....not covered. Specialty coffee....not covered. Canned soda in the international cafe....not covered. There were too many exceptions to make it care free.

The formal nights were very relaxed. Several people were wearing shorts and jeans. They did not enforce the dress code. It was ok for men to wear shirt and ties with a coat.

Excursions and their $$$$s are a waste unless the site is far out of town and unavailable by train. We do much better on our own at our pace. More fun to explore on your own than be herded in a bus with 40-60 others. saw three tuxedos on formal nights. Formality is almost passé (a good thing?)

There were 2 formal nights each week but tux was not required. Suits and sport coats were acceptable attire. Other nights Business Casual was proper attire but it seemed people were allowed to "sneak" in wearing shorts. The weekly Crab Shack dining in the Caribe Dining Room is a great choice for $20
