Review summary

We really enjoy Princess cruises and this is our second time on the Emerald Princess. We were on the Aloha deck, inside cabin. We had a really good cabin steward, enjoyed room service for coffee each morning, and the food and dining service was all very professional.

We have been on 13 cruises and seem to enjoy Princess best. We would love to see more land and sea experiences offered for a new experience where we could explore the ports a bit longer.

This is our second time on the Emerald Princess and it is a nice ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

We are always looking for the best price. We have done interior as well as balcony staterooms. For the price, the interior room was hard to beat. We don't spend a great deal of time in the stateroom. We like being on the upper decks and away from public areas and elevators.

Ship tip

We are from the Houston area and were quite surprised to have people from so many parts of the U.S. and Canada on board. The ship is very pretty and easy to get around.

We only rode the tender to the shopping area, which is very limited. The silver jewelers are quite willing to negotiate.

Fat Tuesdays offered free internet, so we all six went in and bought a drink, but the internet connection was never strong enough to use it.
