Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Disney Wonder / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

THE SHIP WAS BEAUTIFULLY APPOINTED AND SPOTLESSLY CLEAN. EVERYTHING WAS UP TO PAR WITH DISNEY. OUR STATEROOM WAS VERY ROOMY AND NICELY DECORATED. LOVED THE SHIP AND WILL DEFINITELY GO AGAIN.

Perfection by TroyL1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Disney Wonder / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Disney at it's finest!!! By far the best cruise I've ever taken. It is in another league above all other cruiselines. We don't have any children and were worried that it would be a problem. There was plenty of adult only entertainment and all children were well taken care of and never an issue . The Disney theme was very tasteful and not overdone. The Disney Wonder ship was very clean, luxurious and I highly recommend it . I'll never book another cruise unless it's a Disney Cruise.

Mixed feelings !?!?!? by RebeccaR3

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Disney Wonder / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Our family: Myself (32 year old Lifetime lover of all things Disney), DH 31, DD 4, DS 18 months. Upon arrival at the cruise terminal in Port Canaveral we were incredibly impressed with the level of organization outside (directing cars to unload and park etc). Once inside the check-in process was flawless. (Far better than what we experienced with Royal Caribbean 6 months earlier). Upon boarding we were warmly greeted by all crew members, the ship is pretty but not "wow". We checked out our room and it was, as expected, small (Catagory 11 inside) We would have loved a balcony, but it was simply out of our price range. We will never again cruise with an inside room! The entertainment and character experiences were the highlight of the cruise. My daughter seemed to enjoy the Oceaneer Club and my son loved Flounder's Nursery. Where then was our disappointment? Well... throughout our cruise we felt that the dinner service was horribly rushed, the buffet service was lacking, and the overall crew "vibe" was one of discontent. Bottom line: If you're looking for easy access to character greeting experiences, then this is the ship for you! If you're looking at dollar-to-dollar value, we just didn't think that this cruise was worth Disney's exorbitant prices. We won't be back.

Disney is the best! by DawnT1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Disney Wonder / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

We just sailed on our fourth Disney cruise, and it was fabulous! Disney may be a little more expensive than other cruise lines, but it is well worth the extra money. In my opinion, a couple of features on the Disney ships that stand out are the fresh water pools and rotational dining at dinner. There is always something for everyone in the family to do. Our older son turned 13 a couple of months ago, and he went to The Stack (the teen club) every night. I believe he had a really good time. Our younger son, who is 9, went to the Oceaneer Lab when my husband and I dined at Palo. He had a great time. The overall experience on a Disney Cruise is great. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Great Cruise Highly recommend!!!! by CamS2

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Disney Wonder / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Disney puts the magic into everything they do and the cruise is no different. Children of all ages are entertained along with their parents. So much fun. Castaway Cay is wonderful. Stay clear of Nasua or if you do go be informed and realize it's not a very good place for kids. Don't get your hair braided on Nasua wait until Castaway Cay it is half the price and much cleaner. The food is amazing along with the staff.

An incredible experience by ValerieV

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Disney Wonder / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

This was my first cruise. Disney's attention to detail, their staff, and their cleanliness was impeccable. Like nothing I've ever witnessed before. The dinners were incredible and in beautiful settings. There was 13 in our group and we all feel the same way about our cruise experience. We couldn't wait to book another cruise with Disney.

Family cruise fun ! by AT340

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Disney Wonder / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

The Disney Wonder ship was really beautiful, the rooms very spacious and we were on the bottom deck! The ship is OCD clean, they handed out wipes to clean your hands all of the time, very nice, to keep from getting sick. The presentation of food in Parrot Cay restaurant on boarding the ship beautiful. The service at the sit down dinners was so slow, and the food was a little above good. We had just gotten off of a Carnival Cruise so to compare the food service between the two is night and day. The Carnival shined compared to Disney Wonder, I was very disappointed about that, as I thought it would be equal or better. I would still recommend this ship to families as it was so nice, the entertainment was really superior to Carnival. The cleanliness, the overall atmosphere for families wonderful.

Attention to Details! by AV5

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Disney Wonder / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

The Disney "broadway" shows each night alone was worth the cruise's price! These shows are not available anywhere on shore! The ship has beautiful lines, decor, fast elevators, conveniently located stairways, and plush carpeting (good on the legs! for getting to all the activities and meals. Disney is known for its family fun, attention to detail and good ole fashion courtesy and personal attention. All the bathrooms that we used are very clean.

We already booked our next Disney cruise by JoeW2

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Disney Wonder / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

My wife and I traveled with our 2 year old daughter and 5 year old son. I was a bit nervous taking the kids on their first cruise, but it was great. Our daughter spent 6 hours in the Flounder's Reef Nursery over the course of our three day cruise. That was just enough time to give my wife and I a little alone time with each other and even some time alone with our son. Our son spent several hours in the Oceaneer's Club and had a great time. I was concerned that we'd be dropping our tearful kids off at places they didn't want to be and my wife and I would feel guilty while we tried to steal a few moments alone. That couldn't have been further from the truth. The kids were excited to go to their "areas" and were actually asking us to drop them off. I can't imagine a better vacation for a family with small kids.

Awesome cruise by TammyC3

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Disney Wonder / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

This was such an excellent experience of a cruise. This was the first for myself and my son. I cant wait to go again. There was so much to do that there just wasn't enough time to get it all in. The parties were great too with the characters and fun and dancing each night. The fireworks did top it off. The best thing for kids is the oceaneer club and lab. My son didn't want to leave and there was always something exciting going on there. I highly recommend the ship. I just thought that 3 days was too short. I cant wait to sail for a week.

A nice experience by MichaelS33

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Disney Wonder / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

I would definately reccomend this ship to people with kids, Disney does an outstanding job in catering to the kids, and the shows are very nice. The ship was VERY clean, and the food in Palo was outstanding, the best meal I have ever eaten. The other dining rooms, food was average to cruising. The Walt Disney Theatre was nice, however the seats are way too tight and it feels like they are trying to cram you in there.

A great cruise. by BettyeS

Sail date: /
Ship: Disney Wonder / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

This is the first time that I took a cruise on a Disney ship and was not sure how an adult would enjoy the cruise. The cruise was very enjoyable and I would not hesitate to recommend this cruise to others even if they are not accompanied by children. The shows, dining experience and cruise excursions are geared for travellers at any age.

Had a Wonder-ful Time !!!! by MariaC17

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Disney Wonder / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Very clean and roomy. The outside pool area was great with the huge tv above the pool was nice to watch. There was not a spot of dust to be found and the ships paint was perfect....although i would have them paint early in the am when no one is on the top deck the smell was a little over powering...but not enough to keep me off of that deck..lolololol

Our First "Family" Cruise by GinaC6

The Disney Wonder appeared to be tip-top condition from the paint on the outside of the ship to the holiday decorations on the inside.
