The big draw for me with Princess is that the food is extra good for a low price cruise.

Consider the dining at your own time flexible option if getting to the shows is important to you. MDR 5:15pm set schedule dining makes it near impossible to get to the 7:30 show.

Toward the front of the Explorers Lounge (Promenade deck) is a smaller alcove of a few banquet seats and tables. It's a great spot to take your coffee in the morning as their is a window view.

MDR fixed seat dining at 5:15pm will not leave you sufficient time to get to the 7:30pm show. Select Anytime Dining option unless you don't mind going to the late show.

Little dissapointed in the food, dinners were so so, buffet was pretty much the same stuff for everyday. The piano player in the Rat Pack room was horrible, kept telling sorry one line jokes, and not playing the piano.

I liked all the paintings on the walls and enjoyed looking at them. We went to the crab shack and it was a great deal. The food was very good and there was plenty of it.

When the Princess Patter lists "movies under the stars" passengers should be aware that the movies are also shown in the Princess theater when the weather is inclement. We were not aware of that the first two days and missed two good movies!

Lots of walking to off set all the food options.

Good cruise Did not like the staff pressure to buy wine tasting as well as water in the dining room

if you don't plan on drinking much no need for the all you can drink card just the soda option will do.

bring a book, no interesting onboard activities so you will have lot of time on your hands...

Avoid schedule conflicts. I.E., don't schedule a theater show close to the time of the Captain's Club party.

Hot tubes by the gym are much quieter. Arrive to showtime at least a half hour early to get a seat.

It was a HUGE and beautiful ship. Very enjoyable!

If there is danger of choppy seas, get a cabin on a low deck near midship.

Seems to be an 'old' ship in need of some work - paint, flooring, etc.

You are allowed to take 1 bottle of wine on board per person (over 21). We really enjoyed having a bottle of wine and playing a game with our friends on our balcony at sunset. If you arrange to get balcony cabins next to each other, there is a door that opens between balconies.

Our room attendant Daniel was professional, sincere, detailed oriented and on point. He is one of the major contributions to why our cruise was a success! Tips: Watch all the hidden charges and "Ala Cart" charges... Read the fine line, understand it and your cruise will be fun!

try other companies for better luck
