The entire cruise experience on board the Crown Princess was excellent. Do not take the negative reviews about food seriously. There is always enough choice and although there are repeats of certain items you have the ability to find something that will fill the void. The staff are very friendly and helpful and they leave you feeling appreciated for being on board. Just ask and they are more than will to accommodate to make your stay and experience as best as they can.

We are platinum members so there was no waiting at all. Very efficient in dealing with check in personnel and immediately boarding the ship.

I have no fault with the food or drink. Take the negative reviews with a grain of salt. The only negative was the quality of the coffee which was horrible. I do think they do that deliberately so you buy the coffee card at a premium price.

Ship tip
Hot tubes by the gym are much quieter. Arrive to showtime at least a half hour early to get a seat.
Very well organized. The staff for the port at the immigration lines should just not be there because they make things more difficult than needs to be. Just have people line up in th applicable lines to meet the US customs officer. The directing of the port staff or Princess staff makes complications unnecessarily.
