Review summary
We took the Crown Princess out of LA for a 4 day cruise that stopped in San Diego and Ensenada. After enjoying the 3 day last year, we decided to try the 4 day. It was well worth it! The Crown Princess is a large, beautiful ship with plenty to do on it. In addition, the food in the dining room on Princess is outstanding (although I was disappointed in the steaks). The stop in San Diego was fabulous! One of the best cruise ports to stop at! There is so much to do just walking off the ship with the USS Midway museum, Seaport Village, the downtown Gaslamp district, Little Italy, the Embarcadero and more within walking distance. We rented bikes from one of the numerous racks around and were able to see so much. All in all, it was a wonderful getaway.

Ship tip
You are allowed to take 1 bottle of wine on board per person (over 21). We really enjoyed having a bottle of wine and playing a game with our friends on our balcony at sunset. If you arrange to get balcony cabins next to each other, there is a door that opens between balconies.
