Review summary

Overall this cruise was amazing for the scenery. We had rain most days, but it was nice most of the time. We listened to people that said that to layer your clothing and bring wet weather clothing so we had a great experience in Alaska

Embarkation

Pretty good experience with boarding

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The main dining rooms were great, we had dinner in each of them. The buffet was not good. The buffet had the same food everyday. They did not have the variety of foods during dinner.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
we did not use the pools or the hot tubs because it was cold

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The ships production shows were amazing. They did "The Voice of the Ocean" the final night with guests being the contestants. It was amazing! The comedian they had on the ship was horrible, he was not funny at all.

Children's Programs

no children with us

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our room steward was outstanding. He was always attentive to our needs.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Very clean and maintained ship

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
very nice cabin. very large closet area to hang clothes. plenty of shelves to put non hang up clothes.

Ship tip

The ship is a nice size ship. I would recommend dining in the dining rooms instead of the buffet because there was no variety with the food in the buffet

We loved seeing the Mendenhall Glacier and all of the eagles in the area

Icy Strait Point (Hoonah), Alaska

3 out of 5
Hoonah is a very small town that is about a 30 minute walk from the cruise port. If you want to have a nice walk it is great, but the town is nothing. The Smokehouse Restaraunt is great for fish and chips

Ketchikan, Alaska
