Review summary

The ship could have used some refurbishing. Service was standard, at best. Food was not so good. I had a prime rib with so much membrane that I couldn't cut it, let alone eat it. No matter how your steak was ordered, rare, med rare, med, it all came out the same way...Well Done. Princess used to be our favorite cruise line, but not based on this one.

Curtains had dry rot on backing. Lots of holes for light to shine through. Cabin steward did a nice job of keeping the room tidy.

The Cruise lines do not read our reviews, best to complain directly to Princess or book a few times at specialty restaurants

Glad I didn't book my Mediterranean cruise on Crown but Royal which is Princess Luxury line and has excellent food especially at specialty restaurants like the Crown Grill

we went on Norwegian escape new ship. very nice. they also brought us a ice jug of water for our rooms at night. cleaned 2x a day so we always had clean towels. food was excellent. our favorite was the French restaurant.
