Make sure when choosing a room, you look to see what the layout of the other decks are to know what’s above you

Make sure to get a cabin on a deck like 7 or 8 where there isn't a venue below or above you. If you have mobility issues, get mid ship. If not, get forward.

Pack less, the dinners in the main dining room are not all fancy.
Make sure yoy have specific seating time in the dining room if you have a largr group.

Just don’t be too picky and enjoy. It’s an older smaller ship but easy to navigate and doesn’t feel too crowded even when sold out.

This is not an upscale cruise in my opinion. But it was great for us as it was 10 of us in my family on this vacation to honor my late Mom and this was perfect for it as far as affordable.
