Celebrity Cruise Line is top notch. You will always visit great ports of calls. The ambience on the ship is great. Great entertainment, great food, and great waiters and room attendant. We cruise exclusively with Celebrity and have reached the Elite level in Captains Club. We get great perks at that level . We have already booked cruises through 2019.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
It was a walk in the park as we boarded the ship about 3 PM. No waiting in line.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
The buffet was so boring. no variety for breakfast and lunch. For all the cruises we have taken on celebrity,
there were menu items in the dining room that weren't very appealing. The wine steward was great. We also had dinner in the Tuscan Grill. food and service were great !
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
There were a few activities that I enjoyed, but it seemed like they were catering activities for the Puerto Ricans !
Entertainment
3 out of 5
The singers and dancers were always great on stage. Too sad that they only performed 3 times for an 11 day cruise. Some of the other performers were absolutely AWFUL !!! Vegas Vanguard and ECHO were so bad, we left the theater. ECHO was from Orlando and I can't comprehend how they managed to get a gig on Celebrity. There were also bands that performed different lounge acts.. good for dancing, easy going type of music, but they weren't offered at convenient times .
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
We have always had great service in the dining room, room steward, and Captain Kate.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
There were several times that the Women's restroom outside the dining areas were not available. The ship was always clean.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
We really enjoyed our stateroom and balcony. Our room steward really took care of us.
Ship tip
This is one of the smaller ships and accessing different parts of the ship was easy.
we bought a tour once we disembarked from the ship. I had a map of places I wanted to visit, and even though we were promised to visit them, the driver wasted our time and would NOT go to Brimstone Hill.
We bought a tour from the ship that included touring Hato Caves and a walking tour in the downtown area. Since it was Sunday, some businesses weren't open. We went to the Synagogue and museum on our own. It was easy to get around the downtown area . we also bought the liquor, blue Curacao !
I had a phenomenal experience on this island as I went scuba diving on my birthday ! I was so happy that we had an overnighter on the island. My husband and I explored other areas on our own and even found good music at an outdoor restaurant. The 2nd day we had a great tour of the island. The excursion was booked from an outside vendor .
This was a waste of time. There was nothing near where the ship was tendered .Taxi drivers wanted too much money . So we just turned around and returned to the ship and had a very enjoyable day poolside
