Review summary

Once again, enjoyed our Celebrity Cruise to Alaska. Good Job.

Embarkation

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Drinks were great, food quality not like in the past.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Limited and not much going on. This was a cold weather cruise and it meant that a lot of people were inside. Definite lack of seating.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Shows were ok. Would have liked more afternoon shows especially since it's not possible to hangout by the pool or on balcony.

Children's Programs

No children...

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Room steward Josefino, Table 313 Waiter Cahya, Assistant Gaurav and Sommelier Apple all provided excellent service. Madeline Wheeler at the Spa was a gem going out of her way to advise and provide knowledge on my much loved Keratese products.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Furniture and carpets are getting worn.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
All was great. All supplies replenished. Never had to ask for anything.

No, just walked around the town. Had a great afternoon at the Asylum bar; friendly people.

Excursion was very disorganized at the beginning. Wasting time shuttling back and forth on the dock and ultimately starting 40 minutes late was annoying. The people in charge did not help and were disrespectful in that they would not say why we were waiting. Being truthful instead of giving optimistic times of when we would get underway would have gone a long way to difuse the annoyance.

Sorry the excursion didn’t start on time. Maybe the people in charge didn’t know it would start 40 minutes late so that’s why they didn’t tell you what time it was going to actually start. Sometimes things happen that were not planned, especially on the first cruise of the season.

The one thing I did not care about Celebrity, while they had SOME afternoon entertainment, it was very sparse. Better than Holland, but much worse than Princess. Still a nice ship though.
