Review summary

We enjoyed our cruise very much . We especially liked the views of the glacier from our balcony. We didn't like the high table stakes and the continuous shuffle machines in the casino. Our dinner waiters -Joseph & Aquino- took very good care of us. The timing of the Captain's cocktail party is not good. It would be more enjoyable if it was actually at cocktail time. The lovely appetizers lose their after dinner.

Oops. It's my understanding that Celebrity has done away with formal nights but we will still be dressing up on our cruise in January. If I wanted to dress casual I might as well cruise with Carnival.

As for the cocktail party, Celebrity no longer cares if it is convenient for their customers but whatever works best for them. As an Elite member I've got a cocktail party almost every night but the way they are scheduled I have not made it to any of them on the last few cruises. Customer service is at an all time low.
