Beautiful Cruise - Scenery - Diappointed with Celebrity Cruise Line Experience

We have cruised several times on various cruise lines.  We might of had our expectations too high, but we were disappointed with so many service related items.  For example, some of our luggage was not delivered to our room until 9:00pm and one bag was lost completely.  We had to call multiple times and go to guest relations to retrieve it.  Our cabin steward was wonderful, but our "concierge" level cabin was very run down.  The closet was broken, the phone was broken, stains on the couch, the hair dryer was held together with tape.  Also the TV did not work most of the time.  They did re-start the entertainment system a couple of times and that seemed to fix it.  What was very frustrating was that for the entire cruise, the 'navigation function' (where we were cruising) did not work and the on board "account" system did not work.  Granted, we could of gone back to guest relations (again) to check the status of our account and we did not.  We unfortunately had money left in our account that went unused.  Another disappointment was the room service. Based on the "concierge" level, it was supposed to be enhanced.  We would of settled for reliable and somewhat prompt.  For example, each morning when we would call in for a pot of coffee, it would arrive 45 - 60 minutes later.  One morning it took 3 hours for us to get coffee.  We had to make multiple calls which was also frustrating because the phone would just disconnect.  They ended up telling us that the waiter bringing it to us dropped it in the elevator and never told anyone.  We did enjoy the scenery and we did enjoy the 'select dining' and the staff was very accommodating in allowing us to dine alone as we were celebrating our anniversary.  It just seemed that there was no extra effort extended.  When we would attempt to contact staff regarding an issue we were always told "we will get back to you" and only one time did that happen.

Ship Quality
Very diappointed with our cabin, not the size of it, the condition of the room itself.
Food and Dining
The meals in the dining room were good. The meal we had to pay for in the speciality restaurant was excellent and we were very diappointed with the food at the buffet. Often times the breakfast items were cold and every day it was the exact same items.
Service and Staff
Steward was very kind. The service was just not excellent.
We only attended 2 shows. The comedy show the first night and the magician. Both were excllent.
Children's Programs Did not use.

Destinations and Excursions
We booked our excursions through - when we attempted to ask about them and try to book something else, we were told they could not help us because they did not book these. I understand that, but it would of been helpful to get assistance instead of feeling 'passed on' because we did not book through them.

Closet broken, Phone broken, TV Entertainment system worked on & off, hair dryer held together with tape, stains on couch, etc.

Best part of the trip. We were on our balcony this entire morning enjoying the scenery. This was when we were deserate to have our coffee and it took over 3 hours.

We took the dog musher/bus tour. Brian was our tour guide and he was EXCELLENT. This was the best excursion.

Make sure EVERYTHING is working in your cabin immediately. Don't wait and/or assume they can fix it after you sail. We were pleasantly surprised to not have to wait for dining and we went at various times each night.
