Review summary

The Solstice and its crew were excellent.  The scenery was great - reminiscent of the fiords of Norway. The cost of shore excursions was high (typical in Alaska). We did enjoy our excursions, especially whale watching out of Juneau.

Cabin / Stateroom

This is a standard veranda cabin, located at the back of the ship. It has a slightly larger balcony with an extended overhead covering. A small piece of equipment hangs down from the overhead at the far right side, very slightly obstructing a small portion of the view. We took many pictures from the balcony and did not find the obstruction a problem.

Ship arrived in port at about 6:00 PM. Been here before so remained on the ship to enjoy last night's dinner and pack.
